Son of Poseidon (PercyJackson x Batfam)

I woke up in a cold sweat, shaking. I couldn't escape my memories even in sleep. I sat up, debating on whether I wanted to get up or try again. After 4 more tries, I decided to quit while I'm ahead. Maybe I should take a walk or something.

I stared at the grandfather clock on the wall, not surprised at all. It was 5:27 in the morning, I bet everyone else was still sleeping.

I wandered around the manner, taking some time to remember the tour I had taken. Tim was kind enough to show me around a couple of days ago, the day I was taken in. I made sure to burn every hall, corridor, and door into my brain, just like Annabeth taught me. It was like a map inside my head, and soon, I found my way into the kitchen.

I smiled, maybe some blue cookies later, but definitely blue pancakes now.

I searched through the kitchen, finding the flour, eggs, butter, milk, and everything else I needed. I whipped up the batter, dyeing it blue, along with my hands, and preheated the stove. I slipped some batter into the fridge and got started on the scrambled eggs. I found some ham, peppers, and onions, to put into it.

This is going to be a good morning.

(Alfred's POV)

I woke up at the usual time, walking to the kitchen to get started the Master's breakfasts. To my surprise, a delicious aroma was coming from the kitchen.

Young Master Perseus was already cooking.

"Good morning, Alfred," He smiled, brushing his bed hair out of his eyes.

"I did not know you were an early riser, would you like some assistance, Master Perseus?"

Master Perseus sighed, "Why don't you call me Percy, Mister Pennyworth, or would you prefer sir?"

I sighed in return, "If you insist, Master Percy."

We finished up chopping the ham and vegetables when I went to set the table for the morning meal.

Master Richard was the first to arrive, confused at seeing Master Percy in the kitchen, "Hey, Percy, I didn't know you could cook?"

Master Percy didn't look up from ladling the batter into the pan, as he grinned, "My mom taught me how, she made the best food ever."

Soon after, Master's Damian, Timothy, and Jason came into the kitchen, probably smelling the delicious food Master Percy prepared.

(Dick's POV)

I woke up to a delicious smell coming from the kitchen, it smelled like pancakes. My favorite. I was surprised to see Percy cooking, while Alfred set the table. I guess Percy saw the look on my face and he laughed.

"Hey, Percy, I didn't know you could cook?"

Percy told me how his mother had taught him how, that he'd be a hopeless case without her.

We talked a little more, then the rest of my brothers came into the room, all looking grumpy. 

Except for Tim, he looked like he turned into a coffee zombie again. 

Hopefully, they didn't ruin the morning with their mood, sometimes things get out of hand when they're grumpy, and this is Percy's first breakfast with all of us at the same time.

To our surprise, Percy pulled the coffee away from Tim, "No coffee till you eat something solid, you can't run on caffeine alone. I also promise you, you're going to love these pancakes, and if you want some eggs there are some on the table."

"But Percy," Tim whined, "I need my coffee."

Percy pushed him into his chair, plopping some pancakes onto his plate, along with a scoopful of eggs, "You heard me, Timmy, but don't worry, you'll get your coffee as soon as you eat a reasonable amount of food."

To add even further to our surprise, Tim actually listened. Well, he did listen but that didn't stop him from looking at his beloved coffee pot.

Soon enough, Bruce came down and sat with us, Percy putting pancakes in front of him.

"Good Morning, Percy, Alfred, boys." Bruce nodded to each of us in turn before looking down at his plate.

His eyes were filled with confusion, and Percy explained the blue, "My stupid ex-step-father said blue food wasn't a thing. My mom made whatever she could blue to prove him wrong. It was our only way of rebellion."

He laughed deeply at the memory, a twinge of sadness in his eyes, "That's why blue food tastes better."

Bruce and Damian were still looking skeptically at the pancakes.

"Come on Bruce, Dami, nothing is wrong with them," I smile, "they're really good."

They each took a reluctant bite, immediately going in for another.

After Percy sat down, finishing his food, Bruce dampened the mood, "Percy, boys, we are going to have a gala to introduce Percy as the newest Wayne. It won't be for at least a week, but I thought I would tell you now."

The whole table erupted, Percy whining about hating parties, Tim whining for coffee and that parties were boring, Damian huffing and sliding in his chair, and Jason shouting profanities at the top of his lungs.

Bruce pinched the bridge of his nose, he knew that everyone hated gala's, but he said it needed to be done.

"We need to show Percy to the public," he explained, "I know you all hate gala's, but we are Wayne's, it is expected of us to introduce him."

"If I may, sir" Alfred spoke, "Master Percy needs to get new clothes and special items for his room, perhaps this is a time where we can gather new clothes for the gala. The boys have all outgrown their suits, and they could have a spot of fun while shopping together."

Everyone's jaw dropped, not at the shopping, but what Alfred said before that.

I choked on my juice, "How on EARTH did you get Alfred to call you PERCY, Percy!"

Percy smiled triumphantly, "Can't tell you, a magician never reveals his secrets. Besides, I'm Alfred's favorite. MWAHAHAHA!"

Bruce clapped his hands together for our attention, "It'll be a great time to get to know each other better. How about you boys go shopping either this afternoon or tomorrow? Who knows, maybe you'll see some friends while you're out."

I just finished my school day and thought to put another chapter up! 

So, the boys are not wanting to do the gala and on top of that, they have to go shopping. I wonder how that's gonna turn out. I'm sure chaos will ensue. 😏
