'We're just friends...Oh! I just care about his opinion...Yeah, that's what it is! Since we're friends his opinion means a lot to me,' I think as I begin to smile proudly to myself.

"I only care about his opinion, no other hidden reason," I say out loud, hoping the sound of the words would be enough to convince me. The butterflies fly away as my face returns to its normal tone, proving that my idea was right.

'U-huh...if that's what you think,' my internal voice says again, making me shake my head.

"What do you know?" I question the voice. It decides to shut up as I begin to nod my head. "Yeah, you better shut up!" I sat to myself as I begin to hear shouting and fastly approaching footsteps coming from the opposite side of the street.

"Mafuyu!" I hear a familiar voice shout out from across the street. I immediately pause my self-talking as I turn to look at the two boys. Uenoyama grabs Mafuyus arm preventing him from running any further as they both heavily pant, trying to catch their breath. "Mafuyu!' Uenoyama says again as he begins to turn the salmon-haired to face him.

'They must have run pretty far, I'm still a few minutes walk away from the venue,' I think as I listen in on their conversation as best as I can. I stand about 20 ft away from them as they begin to speak again, not noticing me across the street.

"A-are you crying?" Uenoyama asks Mafuyu as he moves the slightly shorter bangs out of his eyes. Mafuyu slowly shakes his head as my heart begins to feel heavy at the sight.

'What the hell happened?' I question myself as I feel tears start to build up in my eyes. 'Now I'm crying, what the f*ck!' I question myself as I rub my eyes. Whenever I see someone upset or in pain, I always feel guilty. I don't know if that is a shared trait among other people, but I always feel I could've done something to prevent it.

"Are you alright?" I manage to hear Uenoyama say over the blowing wind. Mafuyu says nothing in response, making my heart ache even more. "What was up with that guy? Who's Yuki?" Uenoyama continues to ask as I slightly become confused at his words. "Is this something you can't tell me? Does this have something to do with why you don't want to join the band?" Uenoyama asks, slightly pausing in between the two questions.

Mafuyu shakes his head 'no' before speaking. "No, it doesn't," Mafuyu briefly responds.

"Then..why?" Uenoyama gently asks in a way I've never heard him speak before. A few seconds of silence pass as Mafuyu stares numbly at the ground.

"If you're in a band... You have to express yourself in front of people, right?" Mafuyu begins to speak as both Uenoyama and I intently listen. "People always tell me that I look like I'm not thinking about anything. And sometimes...I think they might be right," Mafuyu continues, slightly gripping the bottom of his shirt and sweater, as my mouth drops in surprise. "I think...I'm really bad at expressing myself compared to everyone else," Mafuyu finishes as both Uenoyama and I stand in shock.

'Bullshit...Absolute bullshit...WHAT THE HELL?! WHY THE F*CK WOULD YOU EVER THINK THAT?! YOU DUMBASS!! YOU CAN NOT SAY THAT WITH SUCH A PAINED EXPRESSION ON YOUR FACE!!! AND THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I'VE SEEN YOU LIKE THIS!! WHOEVER TOLD YOU THAT IS A COMPLETE IDIOT!!!' I yell in my head as my thought become clouded with anger. I may have called Mafuyu a dumbass but whoever thinks that Mafuyu doesn't express himself is a dumbass themself.

"YOU DUMBASS!" Uenoyama yells at Mafuyu while gripping him by the collar, shocking both the victim of the surprise attack and myself. "Are you bullshitting me?! There's no way you're not thinking about anything!" Uenoyama continues to yell at Mafuyu, unknowingly taking my rage, as well as his, out. "You're not good at expressing yourself? The whole reason I invited you into our band is because your song shook me to my core!" Uenoyama finishes his yelling as he pants in anger.
