Y/n POV:
"I'm hooooome," I lightly sing as I throw my shoes in the closet. Coming up with an 'amazing idea' I back up to the door before I run and try to slide across the wooden floors with my socks on. Sliding a few feet, I widely smile, before I trip and fall onto my face with a thud. Groaning in pain, I lay my arms out to my side, not thinking anyone would care if I did.
'I'm hungry,' I think as I start to smell the leftover food my mother had left out. My shift ended at 6 pm and even though Haruto gave me some snacks throughout the day, I was still starving. 'I'm pretty sure he could've fed me more, but I think he was a bit salty that I said he had a microscopic p-'
"You look comfy down there," Hiroshi's voice says from above me. I groan in hunger and annoyance as I shove my face further into the mahogany floorboards. "Tired from your boyfriend working you too hard?" Hiroshi evilly teases. As the words reach my ears, I quickly push myself up and scramble to my feet, making me fall face-first into the ground again. Hiroshi laughs at my attempts to get up as I groan in pain.
"He's not my boyfriend. He's my friend," I muffledly say, giving up on the idea of standing and accepting the ground to be my new home. One thing the floor offered was something I could use to hide my blush from Hiroshi as he hovers over my limp figure.
"Sure, whatever you say... Y/n-chan" Hiroshi teases again before I hear him quickly shuffle away.
"I'm not gonna hit you, I can't even get up," I tell him after figuring out why he had moved away. "How bad of a sibling do I have to be to make you think that?" I rhetorically ask him as I carefully try to get up again.
"Once, when you were five, you snitched on me kissing a girl to Mom and then decided to start wrestling me on the floor," Hiroshi tells me as I stand up, still wary of the possibility of falling. As I straighten my back out, I look at Hiroshi and raise a confused eyebrow.
"From what I remember, I believe you started that," I tell him, trying to recall the memory. Bits and pieces are missing from my memory, but the most random things stick in my mind. While I may have been a little sh!t when I was younger, I don't remember starting any fights with Hiroshi. Not that it couldn't be a possibility, it was just highly improbable.
"Nope. You started it, continued it, and then ended it when you started crying," Hiroshi says in a matter-of-fact tone, making me give up arguing and agree with him.
"Sounds like me," I tiredly respond as I walk over to the kitchen and grab the food my mother had put out on a plate. I walk over to the table, not bothering to warm up my food, and take a seat. As I start to shove the food into my mouth, Hiroshi takes the seat left to me. He pulls out his phone, slightly confusing me before he reaches his left arm across the table and holds his phone in front of the two of us.
"You wanted to see why I visited you today, right?" he asks, recalling the reason he came to my work. I nod in response, my mouth full of luke-warm food. He uses his thumb to play the video as I slightly lean forward to see the small screen better.
"Wow, you can put on clothes properly, I never thought you had it in you," I hear my mother say behind the camera as I watch myself widely yawn and walk over to the fridge. The phone slightly shakes from her not being able to keep her hands still, but it is still obvious I'm in some sort of sleepy trance as I pull open the fridge.
"Yes mother, you're always right. And what you said was funny, let me laugh. Ha...Ha...Ha...Ha," I robotically say as I quickly grab food out of the fridge and throw it in the microwave, pressing the buttons.
