a simple encounter

"Well, if he sees us coming, that wont be a problem. He kind hates you" I add

"Sam? You see that garbage truck? Tag it," Steve says, ignoring my statement

"That truck is loading for max weight and the driver is armed," Sam replies

"It's a battering ram," Nat adds

"Go now," Steve says deeply

"What?" Wanda asks

"He's not hitting the police," Steve replies

"Everyone head for the Insitute," I say

Wanda, Nat and I get up to head to the Institute. The sound of gunshots can be heard. The sound fills the street and people begin to run in panic. Steve and Sam land in before we get there. They take out the men on the ground protecting the ones that had just entered the building.

"Body armor, AR-15s, I make seven hostiles," Steve informs everyone

"I make five," Sam states as he takes two men down.

Nat, Wanda and I finally join the fight. Sam and Wanda work together to take another man down. Sam takes a scan on the building in front of us.

"Rumlow's on the third floor!" he yells

"Wanda, just like we practiced," Steve states as he approaches her

"What about the gas?" she asks, indicating to the gas that Rumlow and his men had shot in to clear the building.

"Get it out," Steve replies as he runs towards the building.

Usinf her powers, Wanda shoots Steve up into the building and then begins to remove all of the gas from the building. Sam, Nat and I defend against the men on the ground as Wanda removes the gas.

"Rumlow has the biological weapon," Steve states

"Im on it," Nat repies as she heads in Rumlow's direction

Nat begins to take down the men heading for the truck. Suddenly Nat was taken down by a grenade and Steve was being shot at from the truck that was currently making an escape. He gets shot out of the building and takes a terrible fall to the ground. I quickly run over to make sure he's okay. He immediately tried to get up but is too weak.

"Hold on there solider, Let me take a look," I say

He lays there on the ground taking deep breaths and he looks at me while I check him for wounds. There was a lot of immediate bruising but nothing I didn't think he could handle, granted that he was a super solider and all.

"Come on, lets get you up," I say while helping him up.

He picks up his shield and smiles at me.

"He's in an AFV, heading north," Sam states

Steve and I begin running north back into the city.

"I've got four. They're splitting up," Sam says

"I got the two on the left," Nat adds

Steve and I drop in and check the truck they abandoned.

"They ditched their gear. It's a shell game now. One of them has the payload. " Steve states

Suddenly a bomb is thrown onto Steve's shield and out of reaction he throws it up into the air. Steve gets punched by a man in all black body armor, equipped with machine's on his fists that pack a powerful punch.

"Steve!" I yell

I run behind the man and kick him down to the ground. He hits the ground and immediately jumps up and turns around and thows a punch. I get hit in the shoulder sending me far back and directly into the ground. As Steve and I fight Rumlow, I hear Nat over the comms

"Payload secure," she states

Steve and I look at each other immediately. He continues to fight Rumlow until he takes him down. Rumlow remains on his knees and takes off his mask. His face was bruised and scarred. Steve grabs him by his armor and I come to stand beside Steve.

"I think I look pretty good, all things considered," Runlow states

"Who's your buyer?" Steve asks

"You know, he knew you. Your pal, your buddy, your Bucky," Rumlow says, ignoring Steve's question.

"What did you just say?" Steve asks, griping his armor harder.

"He remembered you. I was there. He got all weepy about it. Until they put his brain back in a blender. He wanted you to know something. He said to me..."Please tell Rodgers, When you gotta go, you gotta go". And your coming with me," Rumlow finishes

Rumlow grabs a wire on the side of his armor and pulls. It was a bomb. Steve jumps back and pulls me close, he puts his shield in front of us waiting for the explosion. When it doesn't go off I peak my head around the shield. Wanda had come and used her powers to conceal the explotion onto only Rumlow. She shows signs of struggle as she lifts Rumlow into the air and thows him into a building, letting the explotion go off. People begin to run in panic as we all look up at the damage that had been done. That building wasn't evacuated. Wanda placed her hand over her mouth in shock.

"Oh, my.." Steve whispers

"Sam... we need fire and rescue," I say into the comms

"On the south side of the building," Steve finishes

"We have to get up there," I say as i run towards the building to help the people.

We try and help as many as people as possible, but once we did all we could do we headed home. I entered my room and laid on my bed with a big sigh. I heard a slight shuffle come from the door way. I look up to see Vision standing there.

"Hey Vis, Everything ok?" I ask while sitting up

"How was the mission?" He asks

I pat the end of my bed, indicating for him to come sit down. He sits beside me and we talk about everything that happened at Lagos. As I explained everything he just sat there and listened with such enjoyment. He enjoyed listening, and I enjoyed telling him. I enjoyed Vision's presence and I felt a sense of comfort with this certain synthazoid. After I finished, I asked him about his day and listened with just as much joy that he did with me. We talked for what felt like hours and I enjoyed every minute of it.
