Elijah slept in the next morning after Aiden left, curled peacefully into the covers with his head buried into the male's pillow. The smell was comforting, and he held it to his chest as he slowly woke up. He did not want to get out of the bed, but he also knew Aiden wanted him to go out for the day. With a soft groan, he rolled out of the bed and moved to pull on some clothes.
"Elijah?" He jumped at the voice of Lily and quickly tugged on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt.
"Yea, you can open the door." He called and she entered, almost cautiously. After having made sure he was clothed she offered him a smile.
"We are going shopping today. You, Luke, and I. Aiden said we are all going out for a nice dinner to celebrate his deal he is finalizing today, and he wants us to make sure you use his card appropriately." She grinned slightly as she stood in the doorway. Yet Elijah felt his heart drop slightly upon her last sentence. Did Aiden not trust him to spend his money appropriately? Was the male concerned he would take advantage of his kindness? He bit his lip at the thought, glancing to the card on the nightstand. He did not think he had given Aiden a reason to think such things but perhaps he had become too comfortable with him.
"Does he think I would take advantage of his kindness?" He asked sadly causing her to look surprised before she laughed and quickly shook her head.
"The opposite. He doesn't think you are going to use the card like he wants you to." She explained, clearly the tiniest bit amused by his misunderstanding. Elijah released a breath, relieved at her words. He grabbed the card, sliding it into his pocket before he followed her out of the hotel with Luke on his other side.
"Everything is pretty much walking distance around here. We were going to start with a quick breakfast and then we figured we would go shopping." Lily explained as she guided him down the street. Elijah nodded in understanding, though he glanced behind them nervously as he spotted a large male following them."Who is he?" He mumbled as he moved closer to Lily. She glanced behind them, offering Elijah a small smile as she turned back without any concern.
"Bodyguard." She said simply. He nodded, though he was not sure how fond he was of being followed. He did his best to ignore it as Lily set to small talk until they came to a stop outside of a small Cafe.
"They have a variety of different drinks here, healthy wraps, sandwiches, poke bowls, acai bowls, all the good stuff. A place Aiden would approve for it's healthy options.""Wraps?" Elijah asked curiously as a menu was placed in front of him. He glanced over it, noting one of the smoothies that was pink in color.
"Yes, they come with a meat of your choice, rice, guacamole, pepper jack cheese, and any sauce you might want." It sounded good to Elijah and he ordered it once the waitress came as well as the pink drink.
"You know, we should go to the vest shop around the corner. I think they might look nice on Elijah." It was Luke who spoke next, much to his surprise. The male was always so quiet, he often forgot that he spoke.
"Since we need to get some nice clothes, I mean. Aiden wouldn't have mentioned doing that unless it was needed.""As far as I know, I don't have any nice clothes. Not unless Aiden packed me some that I don't know about." Elijah admitted as his smoothie came out. He lit up at the side of it, though he paused.
"Am I supposed to...do I let him know if I am eating or do I need to ask for permission?" He asked nervously. He had picked up on small things such as that, but he did not know what happened when he was alone. Lily appeared surprised at his question as her blueberry smoothie came out as well as Luke's strawberry smoothie.
