Morning of second task

Y/n's POV

"I can't find anything!" Hermione slammed the book she was reading shut.

"Me neither." I said, "We've been looking all night and we have yet to find a charm or spell that can help in any way."

Harry sighed, "maybe I should just self sabotage."

"What! Mate, you can't do that." Ron said.

"Why not? It would just be easier." Harry looked gloomily back at Ron.

"Because you need to win." I said, "you may not me competitive, but I am."

We sat in silence, I was racking my brain for a simple spell that could help.

"You two girls need to see Professor Mcgonagall right now." Mad eye Moody stormed into the room and pointed at Hermione and I.

We walked slowly out of the library and followed Professor Moody to Mcgonagall's office.

Cho was already in there with a little blonde girl that I had never seen before.

"Ah, Miss Granger, Miss Weasley." Mcgonagall said as we stepped into the office.

"Girls I am very sorry." Before I could protest I felt the world go dark, and then I was out cold.

Harry's POV

I watched Y/n leave the library. Hopefully she will be back in time to watch me do the task.

Ron and I cleared all of our books away. I had no idea what I was going to do. "I still need to find something that will help me breathe underwater." I looked at Ron.

"Do you guys need help?" Neville walked out from behind a large bookshelf. "I couldn't help but overhear that you need something that helps you breathe in water?"

"Yes we really do!"

"You could always use gillyweed."

"What's that?"

At the second task

"Where is she?" I walked down to the lake with Neville.

"I'm don't know, but here is the gillyweed."

Neville pulled a slimy substance out of his pocket.

"Are you sure this will work?" I said, taking the gooey plant into my hand.

"Well there has been debate between the effects of fresh water versus salt water."

"And you're telling me this now?!"

"I'm just trying to help."

"Well it's much better than y/n and Hermione. They should be here by now."

I walked down to the wooden boats on the dock. I got in one with Ron, Seamus, Dean, Neville and a random 7th year.

We sailed across the lake. The air was bitterly cold and I couldn't help but think about everything that could possibly go wrong.
