-Wattson-
We had stayed at the bar from after breakfast to now, which is 6:30. Me and Crypto hadn't drank anything today as we still had to meet two hours from now. For lunch, we had pork chops made by Elliot.
-Time Skip 2 Hours-
It was 8:25
I saw Crypto look at me and come over. Everyone was in the midst of chaos when we went outside. I looked at him and he looked at me. We then looked away and continued walking. When we reached the back of the apartment, he sat down on a bench. Then, I sat next to him. We looked at eachother and he started talking. "My name is not Hyeon Kim." I was shocked. Why would he hide his name? Why would he lie to everyone, even his closest friends about it?
"What is it then?"
"It's not that."
"No, seriously, what is it?"
"Do you promise you won't tell anyone?"
"I promise."
"...It's...it's Tae Joon. Tae Joon Park."
"Isn't that the person who killed his sister though?!"
He said something that I couldn't hear. I asked what he said. "Aniyo. He, or I, was framed."
"Why though?"
"I did have a foster sister. Her name was Mila. We were both hackers, working for the syndicate. One day, we found something we shouldn't have. She tried to steal it, and they found out. She went missing and framed me for her murder."
I was shocked. Crypto was looking down. I took his hand like he did when I apologized, and he instantly looked up at me. I decided to ask something. "Is she alive? You said she only went missing." He had been staring at the ground again, but he once more looked towards me. "She could be...I never thought about it. She would want to join the Apex Games if she was alive though." I then gasped and stood up. "What is it?" Tae asked, slightly startled. "I have to get see something. Wait here." I said. Then I hesitated. "Actually, come with me. Caustic's still in the apartment."
Little did they know, the scientist wasn't.
He was standing right outside, listening to their conversation.
