"Sorry!" I said as I ran to the bathroom with my hand covering my nose.
"It's okay!" Mom sad, cleaning up the mess.
I slammed and locked the door behind me as I began stuffing toilet paper into my gushing nose and holding my head back. That's when the ringing started in my ears. I thought it was getting better because I hadn't heard it in a couple of days, but I was wrong. This time it felt like my head was seconds away from exploding, and i instantly felt lightheaded and nauseous. I fell to the bathroom floor knocking over the soap dispenser as I covered my ears. I tried not to scream, but it got harder and harder as the seconds passed.
"Dawn?"
"Dawn?"
I began hearing an unfamiliar voice softly calling my name. I could hear the voice getting closer and closer.
"No," I said softly, trying to push the voice away." no, leave me alone!" I said louder than I intended.
"Dawn!"
The ringing suddenly stopped, and I found myself curled into a ball on the ground. After hearing the voice, it felt like someone or something was trying to consume me. I wish I could explain it better, but I can't even begin to wrap my head around what I felt.
"Dawn, it's mom and dad. Is everything okay?" I heard Mom's voice from the other side of the door, "We heard something fall?"
They tried to open the door when they didn't get a response.
"Dawn?" Mom called out in a more worried tone as she knocked.
"Dawn, I'm going to faze through the"
"I'm fine!" I Yelled, stopping them as I sat on the bathroom floor." I accidentally knocked over the soap dispenser because I was looking for a uhm-a Uhm, Tampon!" I winced my excuse.
"Oh-oh wow!" I heard flash mumble."I don't- I... Iris?"
"Under the sink, first drawer on the left!" Mom replied.
"Thanks, I see them!" I replied.
"Good, that's- Uh- we're here if you need help...I mean mom-moms here if you need her help specifically-"
"How's your nose!" Mom said, cutting him off.
"Fine!" I said, finally picking myself up from the floor and throwing away the bloody tissues.
I quickly wiped my face off with a wet rag and washed my hands before opening the door to mom , Flash, and Nora. It was obvious they were talking about something that they didn't want me to hear."See, I'm fine!" I said, trying to look convincing.

"Wow, he really is slow!" mama Cecile said as we watched flash play softball at the C.C.P.D. annual game.Everybody thought this would be a good break from Cicada and other superhero problems, except I couldn't stop thinking about what happened this morning. I don't know why I keep getting the headaches, the ringing in my ears, and now random nose bleeds. It just keeps getting worse, and I'm scared that there is something- no, I'm okay, it's all in my head. I'll just ignore it until it goes away!
Nora's phone chiming brought me out of my thoughts.
"Hey, what is that, Nora?" Mama Cecile questioned as everyone leaned in to get a better look.
"There is this really great app called Spyn Zone!" Nora answered." The push notification lets you know the second anything happens in the city!"
"Like Iris's website?" Mama Cecile said.
