"y/n are you ready for tonight?" Tubbo asked playing with the small bee plush in his hands
"Physically, no. But mentally, kind of"
"I mean you are going to meet a shit ton of people, possibly the man our going to have to live with for the rest of your life, and make a big public appearance. But no big deal" Alex chimed in
"I don't know if that's supposed to make me feel better" I said giving Alex a sideways glance. I was laying on my bed with Tubbo sitting next to me. Alex was looking around my room at all the things I could wear with my dress, and just looking at all my things in general
"Hey no worries, I'll be there." Tubbo said "If you want I could even stay with you the entire night!"
"If the won't I can, if you want the both of us there to be your menacing bodyguards we will"
"Menacing is the last word I'd use to describe either you." I said laughing a bit
"Hey that's rude" Alex said now looking at me "hey Tubbo remind me what's the legality of suing a royal"
"I don't know to be honest" Tubbo said now joining in on my laughter
"Then I'll do it o my own" Alex huffed and went back to looking at the earrings "Hey y/n what do you think of these?" He held up some diamond earnings that were small but eye-catching. It had gone with the necklace he picked
"I think we have a whole set to go with the dress"
"Finally" he walked over to the stool where he had put the Necklace and another ring "Y/n where's your tiara, your dad wants you to wear it"
"Do i have to though?"
"Kind of, I guess?"
"I'm wearing it because I look good in it. Nothing else" I said sitting up
"Hey y/n, shouldn't you start getting ready?"
"Oh shit yeah" I then now kicked my legs over my bed and got my dress from the front of my closet.
"Do you need us to go?" Alex motioned to him and Tubbo
"No you guys can stay, I don't want to call up someone to help me out"
"Okay sounds fair" Tubbo said re adjusting himself on my bed "Why is your bed so comfortable, like I really like how soft everything is"
"If you want I could buy you one"
"I like with like four other people, in a matter of minutes they would probably take it from me" I laughed at his statement "Im being serious I live with three of my brothers and my dad"
"Seriously?" I looked at him now calming down "How do you have that many siblings?"
"I'm assuming Phill didn't use protection" Alex said trying to hold back his laughter. Tubbo just stared at him wide eyed while I was starting to laugh again, this time just tearing up.
"Okay okay let me get ready" I got inside of my closet to change (yes we have a walk in closet,,,were heir to the throne) and not accidentally flash one of the boys. I looked at myself in the mirror I had, even though the lights were dim I was still in love with the dress itself. The way it sparkled whenever the light hit it, how it moved with every step and turn. I had completely fallen in love with it. (If you have trouble visualizing a dress I got u love. It could be any color you want)

I walked out of the closet and did a little spin to show off the dress
"Oh my God y/n you look beautiful" exclaimed Tubbo
"You look stunning, I'm going to ask your dad if it's nit too late to apply as a suitor" Alex said jokingly staring at the dress"No put everything else on and we'll meet you outside I need to go attend some things before the ball but I'll be by your side the rest on the night."
"Alright Alex and thanks for helping me"
"Anything for ya" Alex sent a little salute before leather room
"Just you and me again huh Tubbo"
"Yeah I don't mind, you're like a big sister to me" Tubbo smiled. My heart and face dropped. An older sister? Its not a bad thing it just I never thought Tubbo would actually ever view me like that. Tubbo quickly picked up on my sudden mood change and quickly apologized "I'm so sorry y/n I didn't mean to weird you ou-" I knew it was a cleshie thing to do, but I hugged him then and there. This was the only real and caring family I had left
"No need to be sorry Tubbo, I see you as a little brother. I've always wanted one " I felt him smile and physically relax. This boy gets too tense and too awkward "Will you help me get ready?"
"Yeah of course, big sis" he said laughing. I finally felt loved in a familiar way.

"There." Tubbo said putting the necklace on "You look so pretty"
"Thanks Tubbo" I said getting up and giving him a hug. We walked out of my room arm and arm and downstairs to the main hall. We were right outside of the now guarded door. Ready to get our introduction
"You ready y/n"
"I think so" I said smiling at him we got closer to the guards who gave us a bow. Tubbo told them our introduction and they opened the door
