Magic Tricks, finding the Hex and falling in love? (Jimmy Woo x Reader Story)

Y/N's POV

"D/N be careful!" I say running after D/N, "Got you!" Jimmy says as he lifts her up

D/N had turned 5 not long ago, it had been 2 years since we adopted her, but dear lord she was non-stop 24/7, if she wasn't running around and playing games she was sitting watching something and talking non-stop, she was extremely obsessed with superheroes and Star Wars right now.

"Come on sweetie you need to go to sleep," Jimmy tells her as we start walking to her room, "Your dad's right, otherwise you will have no energy tomorrow and that sure would a shame," I tell her opening her door and walking into her room

Jimmy then lays her on the bed and goes to take off her little FBI badge that he got D/N as a birthday present, "Wait no!" D/N says covering the badge, "Don't take it", "Come on sweetie you can't sleep with it" Jimmy explains to her and I nod, "Yeah, it might break or you could get hurt with it nugget" she looks at us sad

"How about you take it off and we tell you one of our fun agent stories," I tell her, she looks at us excited and takes it off handing it to Jimmy and he places it on the nightstand, "What story would you like to hear?" she looks to the side thinking and I look at Jimmy shaking my head as I chuckle and place my head on his shoulder 

"Can you tell me about the time you met?" she asks us, "That is not really a spy story though", " And we have told it to you like a thousand times nugget" Jimmy and I tell her, she looks at us pouting, "Please?" she tells us giving us puppy eyes

I look at Jimmy and he smiles at me, "Well we should give the little spy what she wants right?" he says, and D/N starts jumping on the bed excited, "Alright then buckle up for the best story in the world" I tell her, "It all started on an early morning as I parked my cruiser motorbike and saw a very handsome FBI agent..."

D/N lays back excited while me and Jimmy sit on the bed next to each other and start telling the story, once in a while as we tell the story we go too much into detail and D/N has to tells us to move on and tell her more, telling this story always makes me fall more in love with Jimmy somehow even though this happened years ago

"And they lived happily ever after," I say D/N now fast asleep, I kiss the top of her head and carefully get off the bed, Jimmy does the same and we both walk out of her room and he closes the door

"God she really has an almost unlimited battery," I tell Jimmy as we both walk into the living room, "She took it from you," he tells me as I take a seat on the couch, I roll my eyes and turn on the TV, "You want some coffee?" He asks me and I nod, "Sure coffee sounds nice"

He stands up and goes to make coffee, I start looking for something to watch on the TV and stop once I see an old-style 50's movie playing, Jimmy comes back with the two coffees, hands one of the coffees to me, and wraps his arm around my shoulder, "What are we watching?" he asked,

"Not sure, this 50's movie was playing and it seemed nice so I decided why not see what it is about" I explained to him laying my head on his shoulder, "I think I've heard of it, isn't it called like 'One Last Goodbye'?", "It is called that, it's a really cute title that's why I chose it" I explain to him and he smiles looking at me,

"What?" I asked him after he just sat there staring at me for a while, "Nothing" he said and kept looking at me, I chuckled, "Why are you staring at me?" I asked him, "Because I love you, and I just love to get lost in your beautiful eyes" I smiled at him and took his hand, "I love you too"

I give him a quick peck on the lips and put my head back on his shoulder as we watched the movie.

Two hours and 20 minutes passed and the movie was at its ending point, the protagonists were saying goodbye to each other as they took their last breath and I was a tearing mess as I watched the scene, my head on Jimmy's chest as he played with my hair,

"You okay?" Jimmy asked me, I looked up at him and nodded wiping my tears away, "Yeah, the ending is just really sad" I told him and he brought me in for a hug kissing the top of my head, "It was quite sad yeah"

Then the song 'Dream a little dream of me' started playing once the credits started rolling, Jimmy moved away from the hug and stood up putting his hand out, "May I have this dance?" he asks me smiling, I take his hand and stand up, "Yes you may"

He moves his hands so they are wrapping around my waist and I move mine to his neck pulling us closer, we start slowly dancing following the rhythm of the song, "What about me?!" Jimmy and I turn to look at the corridor to see D/N rushing towards us,

"Little missy, shouldn't you be asleep?" I ask her as she jumps towards me and I catch her lifting her up, "I wanna dance with you" she says, Jimmy and I chuckle and start dancing again this time with the little nugget,

Once the song is over we stop dancing and we take a seat, "Come on sweetie, you have to go to bed" Jimmy says, "But daddy, I wanna stay up with you two", "Nugget you need to sleep" I tell her standing up, "But you promised we would watch Mulan" she said angry,

"Fine, but once the movie is over you are going to bed little missy," I tell her sitting down again, "Yay!", "Let's put the sing-along version," Jimmy says looking at me excited, he's such a kid, "Of course, that's the only right way of watching the movie," I tell him smiling,

I lay my head on Jimmy's shoulder, he has his arm wrapped around my pulling me closer and the little nugget is laying on top of both of us with her little Kermit the frog with her, "I love you honey" Jimmy says kissing the top of my head, "I love you too" I say giving him a peck in the lips,

As the movie started D/N started singing along to the song 'Reflection' standing up and giving the best acting performance ever, Jimmy and I laughed, "He's a lot like you as well though" I told him, "Why because she's so talented", "No because she's very childish" I tell him and he looks at me offended, I chuckle and realize something, 

"You remember our first mission?" I asked him and he nodded smiling, "Of course I do, why do you ask?" he said looking at me interested yet confused,

"This just reminded me of when I asked you if you wanted kids and you said, and I quote, 'I thought about it, a little Jimmy Woo, get him a little tiny FBI badge' the only difference back then is that you got the gender wrong," I tell him and he laughs smiling,

"I remember that yet she still has that little tiny FBI badge I was talking about" he points out and I chuckled nodding, "She does, it's weird to think that was so long ago", "Yeah, but I love to think how far we've come," Jimmy says and I nod, "So do I"
