It was a warm, spring day, so you decided to go for a walk around the city. You were so engrossed in the scenery that you weren't aware of the person in front of you. Your head connected to the person's chest, causing you to fall onto the ground.

"Let me help you up." You slowly looked up at the person in front of you. His blue eyes putting you in a trance. He put his hand out for you to grab, helping you up. Once you regained your composure, you were able to get a good look at the male in front of you. He had burn marks all over his body. His eyes reminded you of someone that you used to know a long time ago.

"Thanks. Do I know you?" His eyes widened, taking a step back. "I'm sorry if that was rude. You just remind me of someone that I used to know. Thank you for helping me up, even though I'm the one who bumped into you." You began to walk away until it clicked. You quickly ran back to the male, grabbing his hand.

"Toya?"

"I'm glad it finally clicked." He gave you a small smirk. "What gave it away?"

"Your eyes, stupid." He pulled you into a tight embrace. "Toya, I thought you died." Your eyes began to fill up with tears.

"I'm right here." You pulled away from him, looking at the person you fell in love with a long time ago.

"I'm heading to the park, if you want to join me. I would love to catch up."

"I would like that very much." You unconsciously slipped your hand into his, giving it a tight squeeze.

The walk to the park brought back memories.

"Toya, let's go to the park!"

"Fine." He let go of your hand and attempted to push you into a bush.

"Come on, you love me. Don't act like you don't! Besides, I am your future wife!"

You couldn't help but laugh at the memory.

"What's funny?"

"Do you remember when you tried to push me into a bush?"

"I did that a lot of times." He dragged you to a bench and sat down. "You were supposed to be my wife. We were supposed to have super babies." You let out a small giggle, remembering his father's weird request.

"So, what are you doing these days?"

"Nothing much. Just trying to prove my father wrong." You didn't know how to reply. You knew his relationship with his dad wasn't sunshine and rainbows.

You ran over to Toya's house because he promised to take you to the park. When you got there, he was outside wrapped in bandages.

"Toya?" You quickly pulled him into a hug. "Why?"

"I'm strong. I'll protect you and my family. I'm not weak like my father says."

"I know. I love you, Toya."

"I love you, Y/N. I promise to protect you."

"What about you?" Toya's voice brought you back from the memory.

"I'm an assistant for a pro-hero. I actually help teach at U.A.."

"Which hero?"

"Eraser head." He gave you a 'really' look. "I know, but he's actually a really good hero! I've learned a lot. He gave me a few students to mentor. Midoriya is so cute! I swear he's All Might's biggest fan! He has so much potential. Well, they all do. Then, there's Bakugo. He's a handful. I think he has angry issues, but he's so driven and talented. My last mentee is Shoto, your brother. He reminds me of you." You realize that you've been talking for way too long. "Sorry for talking so much! I just really adore my students."

"No. It's okay. I love listening to you talk." You set you head on his shoulder.

"I really did miss you."

"Me too." You looked up at him, placing your hand on the side of his face. All of the feelings that you once had were coming back. "Y/N?"

"Yes, Toya?"

"I don't know how you feel, but today, made me realize that my feelings for you haven't changed."

"Toya, I-"

"Please, let me finish. I told you I was going to protect you, and I broke that promise. Sitting with you right now, makes me feel like the happiest man alive. I love yo-"

"Heyo!" You turned around and saw your boyfriend.

"Keigo, this is one of my closest friends. Toya, this is my boyfriend." Toya dropped his head. "Hey, Kei. I'll meet you over at the cafe." He nodded and walked away. You walked back over to the bench. "Toya?" Nothing.

You pulled him into a hug. "I love you, too." You got up and walked to the cafe, not looking back at the man you still love. Before you could get far, a soft hand pulled you to their chest. "Toya?"

He lifted your chin, staring into your E/C eyes. His eyes were staring at your lips. He closed the gap between you two, placing a soft and passionate kiss on your lips. "I will never stop loving you."
