'Pffft, that's funny,' I think as I continue to watch the video.
"I mean... I've done worse," I say before Hiroshi shushes me and turns back to the video, making me sweat-drop.
"Here it comes," Hiroshi tells me as both of us lean in closer to the small screen. A wide grin forms on his face, making a small ball of fear form in my stomach as the video continues to play.
"Are you being sarcastic?" my mother growls as I press the start button on the microwave.
I freeze at my mother's tone. I watch past Y/n and begin to pray that I said sorry in the video. 'Please tell me Hiroshi was lying...PLEASE!!'
"I find it quite hypocritical for you to scold me for using sarcasm when you freely use it. We live in a democracy, not a dictatorship, stop abusing your power. One day, your subjects will rise up against you and you will tremble at our feet," I tiredly monologue as the microwave finishes heating up my food.
I quickly inhale before I start choking on the food that was still in my mouth. To say the least, I was in shock. As I continue to choke on my food, Hiroshi hits me on the back, trying to get the food out of my throat. Once I get the food out of my airway, I deeply inhale and place my forehead on the table, completely drained from almost dying.
"Are you good? I had to pause it right before my favourite part," Hiroshi asks. I raise my left arm and place it on the table before I give him a weak thumbs-up.
"I need to finish it... I have to," I exasperatedly tell him as I 'struggle' to lift my head off the table. 'Weakly' smiling, I face Hiroshi, hoping to get some sympathy from him. My face drops in disappointment as he rolls his eyes.
"Didn't you say the exact same thing about the Chimera Ant Arc, Naruto, One Piece, and Bleach?" Hiroshi disappointedly asks me, making me freeze again as I put my head back down on the table.
"Sooooooo loooooong," I groan out, immediately regretting my words, as I can almost hear Hiroshi smirk. I quickly sit up and place my hand on his mouth, preventing him from saying anything perverted. Feeling something wet, I remove my hand from his mouth before I slap him, disgusted by his actions. "You've no idea what I've been touching. Don't lick me, idiot!!" I exclaim as he holds the cheek I hit.
"Do you wanna keep watching the video or not?" Hiroshi asks, obviously trying to change the subject. I roll my eyes before I nod my head in response, wanting to know how deep I should dig the hole I'll throw my body in. He rewinds the video a few seconds, unpauses it, and holds it in front of us like before.
"Mmm...yummy food," I say as I pull my hot plate out of the microwave and stare at the sizzling food.
"Mmm...yummy food," Hiroshi synchronizes with the video, making me sweat-drop.
'How many times has he watched this?' I question myself as I stare at the cackling English teacher beside me. He holds his pointer finger, indicating that something else was going to come up after a few seconds of silence.
"Fear me," I boldly say while walking over to the table and plopping down in a seat. My mother places her phone in her lap so nothing else is showing on the screen, but loud chewing noises are heard coming from across the table.
"BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Hiroshi loudly laughs, making him drop his phone on the table and fall his chair. He rolls on the floor, howling and wheezing like a dying hyena, as I numbly stare at the space where the phone used to be. My mind goes blank as I continue to listen to the audio over Hiroshi's laughs.
"This is f*cking good food, thank you for cooking supper yesterday as I continued to procrastinate my homework. My fatass greatly appreciates your hard work and I strive to be like you every day," is all that is heard before the video ends.
