"I think he likes you," I whisper at Brienne as we sit at a long table in the dining hall of Castle Black with Sansa, Jon, Tormund, Pod, and the man Jon tried to hand off his Lord Commander position to, Eddison Tollett. Tormund is eating ravenously, staring at Brienne. She gives me a disgusted look that makes me laugh.

"A letter has come for you," A man walks in and hands it to Jon.

I recognize the Bolton's sigil on the sealed letter. He begins to read aloud and it is terrible. He stops when it mentions his brother, Rickon, in Ramsay's dungeons. I don't hide my disgust as he refers to himself as the Lord of Winterfell.

"How many men does he have in his army?" I ask Sansa.

"I heard him say five-thousand once when he was talking about Stannis's attack," She answers.

"How many do you have?" Jon asks Tormund.

"That can march and fight?" Tormund asks and Jon nods. "Two-thousand."

"You're the son of the last true Warden of the North," Sansa tells her brother, and a part of me questions that as that familiarity by Jon still shakes me. "Noble lords will fight for you if you ask. We have to go back to save our brother."

"To save Winterfell," I add.

~~~~~
"We can't defend the north from the walker and the south from the Boltons," Jon tells us as we stand around the square table in the Lord Commander's office. "And to take Winterfell back, we need more men."
"No, we don't," I quickly say, smiling at the thought of the beautiful creature who brought me here. "I have a dragon."
"Really?" Sansa asks, taken aback because I haven't told her yet.
"It was magnificent," Tormund says before I can answer. "The dragon's body covered all of Castle Black and the ground shook when they landed."
"With Balerion, they will coil back in fear," I tell them. "And we can kill every last one of them," I meet Jon's dark eyes as I speak, knowing that that is what he wants too.
"But we should still have more men," Ser Davos informs us. "We don't know if your dragon is the best option."
"Why wouldn't he be?" I lean forward on the table, staring deadly into his eyes.
"My uncle has taken back Riverrun," Sansa says. "He has an army."
~~~~~

"Sansa is sending me to get her uncle's army," Brienne tells me as we walk out of the office and into the snow.

"Good, you'll be able to convince him," I say. "Thank you for bringing her here."

"It was our duty, remember?" Brienne says.

"And I failed," I huff. "I couldn't even bring Jaime back to King's Landing in one piece."

"You did everything you could, Visenya," Brienne reassures me. "And you aren't at fault for what happened to him."

"What happened after I fled King's Landing?" I ask curiously.

"Jaime returned to the Red Keep," She shrugs. "He didn't talk to anyone for days and I was worried you died. And when I asked him about you, he started to cry."

"Cry?" I cross my arms over my chest skeptically. "He doesn't cry."

"He did," Brienne obviously was in shock too but she was the one who had witnessed it. "I think he was terrified he'd never see you again."
