The purplette opened his eyes at a sudden disturbance

He looked down as the ground stayed in place, waiting for him to land. But, when he looked up, he was met with frustrated brown eyes, now noticing the squeeze that as made on her being. She was holding his ankle..

"Let go of me"

"No"

She kept her grip as she held onto him "No...I'm not letting you go" Kanato glanced to where her other hand was as it gripped the wall "You'll fall too. Let go--No! I don't want to!" She then began pulling him back, using her strength from practice to aid her. Kanato was surprised by this, the previous Brides they had were almost as skinny as sticks, the poor things. But, Cheyenne wasn't frail, she was going to pull him all the way up and he wasn't going to stop her

Kanato swung there before he started moving his leg, making Cheyenne grip him tighter, using her other hand "Kanato, ay, stop!" The boy stared at her until he lift up his hand. Cheyenne looked to it and then reached for it--

"You idiot.."

Her eyes went as wide as saucers as Kanato flew down, arm extended for her as he carried a blank face. But, he soaked in that horrified look her brown face, she looked terrified

And yet, he loved it

"KANATO!"

Before she could see him hit the ground, Cheyenne darted to the door, running all the way where he dropped

"Kanato!"

Cheyenne ran over to the side of the School and looked around

"Kanato!"

She looked to the side once she appeared at the front, letting out a sigh of relief once she saw him yet at the same time, her lungs were burning, her legs were hurting. Screaming for her to take a break

The girl ran over to his body, praying that he was alright. She then stopped infront if him, searching his body till she saw the way how his chest rose "Kanato! What the fu--Be quiet"

His eyes snapped open

"You're too noisy.."

Disbelief and anger appeared in her eyes. Did he really just say that?

Cheyenne glared at him "Fuck that! What the hell are you doing! You just fell out of the fucking roof! Are you ok?" Kanato sat up, leaving Teddy on the ground next to him "Don't talk to me like t--"

He stopped as the girl hurriedly bent down and wrapped her arms around him, stuffing her face in the crock of his neck "You dumbass, I thought you died! Be fucking careful..."

Kanato sat there, not making any kind of movement. However, his eyes were vastly open. Shock was evident in them, to have her so close was new to him

"You're my Friend, I don't wanna lose you.."

Slowly, Kanato's lips began to quiver. His eyes welled up and his cheeks became a bit red. Cheyenne felt him hug her back, burying his head in her neck as well and crying out. She was surprised by this new change, she didn't expect it

"I'm sorry, Chey-Chan! I didn't mean to make you angry!" She felt him grip her tighter, whining as the tears flew down his eyes and onto her skin, pouring down. Cheyenne sat a hand on his head, patting it, and pulled him closer

At least he wasn't trying to kill her

Cheyenne glanced behind her, spotting her Teacher "Mrs. Grant! I'm sorry I left clas-"

The Woman shook her head with a smile "It's fine. I saw you both leave"

Cheyenne felt her inside drop at the sudden sentence

"After I watched what happened, I decided not to report you two. Take him to the Nurse, alright?" Cheyenne nodded and looked down to Kanato as he sniffed and blinked occasionally. She helped him stand and looked down to where Teddy was laying. She lift him up by his side and handed him to the purple haired boy. Kanato stared at her as he held Teddy before she grasped his hand and lead him to the doors while the Teacher watched them. She kept a smile on her face, happy that they were both alright

"Aww, they're so cute.."

Cheyenne and Kanato walked silently through the halls as they tried to get the Nurse's Office. But, then again, how would they explain that?

Would they just give him a ice bag and send him out?

Yeah, maybe, knowing how they work here

"Chey-Chan.."

Cheyenne looked to Kanato as he stopped. His eyes bore into hers

"Do you hate me?"

The girl stared at him before shaking her head "Kanato. Why would I hate you?" He squeezed Teddy at her question "....."

Cheyenne brought up a hand and pat his head "Kanato, Sugar Baby. No, don't hate you. The thing that I'm more worried about is your health and that you didn't break anything" Kanato watched as her eyes checked over his body.

She was like Yui but she wasn't at the same time

But, Cheyenne and Yui are two different people. One is here and one isn't. And the one in front of him was giving him all the attention he needed. So far, Kanato's attachment to the short girl grew stronger just a smidge

Who knows if that's a good or bad thing. We'll just have to wait and see
