| Alucard |
As the sound of the island's endless pouring rain echoed in the distance, Alucard made his way back onto the deck. He waited for the ship to arrive, and watched as Rodney lowered the bridge.
He walked down onto the black rock and headed for the portal. When he reached it, he stopped and glared into it for a moment. Was he ready to deal with that insufferable demon again? No. But he had no choice. His stupid laughing, and his annoying, condescending smiles. It irritated Alucard so much that the mere thought of it made him furious. Not to mention the annoying, fussy vampires who would be waiting with the demon. He hoped there wouldn't be another fiasco like before; the last thing he wanted was to have to deal with other people's problems.
With an irritated snarl, he stepped through the portal. When he emerged on the other side, the usual tiredness gripped hold of him, but he tried to ignore it. He expected to hear the voices of vampires echoing through the corridors, but it was close to silent. The occasional mutter caught his attention as he made his way towards the hall, but as he got closer, it became clear that there weren't as many vampires there this time.
He stepped into the hall and set his eyes on a group of nine vampires. They stood at the back of the room, muttering quietly to one another. And standing by the right wall—as always—was Zalith. Him. Dressed in an all-black suit. Alucard was instantly gripped by his aggravation; his strong disliking for this man made its way onto his face in the form of a judging scowl. How long would it be this time until he was laughing at something that wasn't at all humorous?
The demon smiled pleasantly, watching Alucard walk over. "Good evening, Aleksei. I see you decided to rid yourself of the ponytail. I like this new look of yours much more," he said as Alucard stopped in front of him.
"I zon't care vhat you vink," Alucard mumbled, looking over at the vampires he'd be taking back with him.
Zalith laughed amusedly.
Alucard then laughed in mockery and glared at him. "Vunny," he snarled. "Vhere are zhe vest of zhem?" he grumbled, gesturing to the vampires.
Smiling, clearly entertained by Alucard's response, Zalith replied, "I brought a single group this time to prevent any further problems," he said, looking back at him. "I didn't want to listen to them bickering like children again."
