How Can Something So Wrong Felt So Right All Along(Ongoing)

Interrogation

On the hall of the Yan Sect where the elders where gathered. The Four young eggs were seen kneeling on the ground with their heads drooping out of shame and embarrassment.

They are atleast at the age where they already practice discernment but they were still punished by the elders.

The elder with strong martial arts was the one who approached them. His domineering looks can make the Four idiots shrink in fear. The strong muscles in his arms and the face that seemed like 'won't accept jokes' could make one's knee to soften.

" So what did the four of you do in the room of this young man Lou JianHeng?". Said Rong Tian. The martial artist expert and teacher of the sect. His voice was like that of a dictator but carries gentleness opposite from his looks.

But the pressure of these elders and teachers around them made the four unable to say things.

"W-we were just..am.a.." Wen Chengling tried to speak but ended stuttering when he remembered this was not his sect where he could speak with his Shishu(uncle).

While the other three look at him implying him to zip his mouth. They looked like they don't like to speak and would accept everything making him anxious. What if he got kick out? What about his study bah?

" Jiangquing what did this four did when you found them?". Everyone went quite when the Sect Leader Yan LanJin speak his thoughts. Looking at his brother's eyes and smiling as if he can read his brother's thoughts.

" Did the four of you doing some mischief when Jiangquing came to the room?". Added the Sect Leader Yan LanJin. The accuracy of the words made the four even more anxious and dumbfounded.

Written in there faces was like " how the hell can he read that face?".

" Sect Leader Yan we were just discussing some things about our learnings. We were doing some group study. Right? Group study!?". Bai Xingzi who can't remain calm speak out. Emphasizing his words while signalling the others to agree with him.

" Group study?". Said the Sect Leader Yan with a rise in his brow.

" Yes.. yes.. yes we were doing some group study". Agreeing, Wen Chengling replied. With a lot of nod and giving the Sect Leader a toothy smile that makes the Sect Leader smile as well.

" Alright, if the four of you were really doing some group study then.." He look at the four chicks and smiled how adorable these four waiting for forgiveness of their acts. "Then I'll just give the four of you some light punishment." Sect Leader Yan LanJin added.

" Thank you for giving us some mercy Sect Leader Yan". Wang ZhenXian said cupping his hands.

With the unpredicted reply from the most beautiful disciple in the Sect. All the eyes of the elders went to him. But this disciple was like having a hard shell layer protecting him from the so sharp lazer eyes of everyone around him.

" So from now on the four of you must give me updates of your group study. And the next month I want the four of you to compete and the winner would be rewarded with a great price. Right Rong Tian Shidi?". The Sect Leader Yan LanJin said with a smile looking at his Shidi and his younger brother.

" I have no disagreements with the punishment. I am just curious what these four did to make Jiangquing angry". Rong Tian said holding his chin as if thinking the possible scenario. Could it be? They.. before he could make his scenario spoken.

" The four of us were only practicing our might and we got tired so we lay in bed for a bit. That's when Shizun Jiangquing get in the room. We were scared so we weren't able to explain what he saw. But there was no hidden meaning on those". This time Lou JianHeng can't retain his calm demeanor. He wanted to say everything at the same time it makes him not want to or else they would get more punishment.

" All of you are surely practicing inside the room and a cramp bed". Yan Jiangquing can't help but refute the nonsense. The sarcasm in his words can struck the four eggs like a lightning. Making them cooked and fried.

" I know you have your thoughts Venerable Shizun Yan Jiangquing but please do not be broad minded. Our conscience is clear we didn't do anything bad that could harm the others. We are the disciples of Yan Sect a virtuous and pure sect throughout the continent. How can we lie to our elders, we would only be a disgraced if that would happen". Wang ZhenXian replied calmly.

Voice like a melody that struck to the hearts of the elders. Added by the persuasive expression he created. A totally new acting of a very talented actor.

Even the other three can't help but look at him. He was speaking confidently again and as Wen Chengling said " if a beauty speaks confidently it can make one's day beautiful".
And it applies to everyone present in the hall. Everyone calmed down in an instant.

" Alright, Lou JianHeng your brother got a point. Good thing he spoke so we'll. Let's not make the issue big. Now, forget the punishment, the four of you has done enough kneeling till morning. You all must have been hungry and cold so just go to your rooms and make sure not to make mischief again. If my brother caught you again then it's another story. Got it!?". Sect Leader Yan LanJin said

" Yes Sect Leader, thank you. We will bear that in mind". The four said in chorus. And immediately got up cupped their hands together and bid their goodbyes to the elders.

The drunken session that was supposed to be happy has turned out to become an interrogation between an offender and an investigator. Truly unlucky bah.

" Brother why did you do that?" Yan Jiangquing asked curiously. The older brother look into him and smiled.

" Do you want that intelligent child to become your new disciple? I'll give him to you. He is the best disciple I have ever seen. You like him too, am I right?". The straightforward words from his older brother made the other speechless. The teasing caused his younger brother to clenched his fist making the latter satisfied.

" Isn't it time for you to move on now. The death of your disciple is not your fault. I know you suffered a lot but you have to open your eyes and heart again. It's been fifty years and you are still looking for him. There are lots of people who needs you...Life is an unpredictable journey you must enjoy it while it's still there. And leave this world with no regrets". Yan LanJin said while walking slowly away from the hall.

Left alone in the hall Yan Jiangquing give a loud sigh. No one knows what's the cause of sadness but one can only know if he can feel it in his heart.
