I refuse to give this book's chapters fun names because I suck at naming chapters so if I think of one then I will put it down here because I'm lazy! Now am I writing this is school? Yes. Is this going to go well considering I'm doing this while suposed to be taking a test? No(I did finish the test though I think I did well) Why do you guys read my awful books? I don't know. But lets go!
Tw: Scars, PTSD, talk about Panic attacks and the starting of one, talk of bad parenting, talk of neglect, Foster system, Remus. Please tell me if I missed any I would be happy to add them. We don't like Roman's aunts and uncles
Marcus kneeled down helping Roman fix the strap on his leg brace, looking up and making eye contact with the small boy. "Ok Roman are you ready to meet your uncle Logan?" he asked Roman just shrugged and looked down not making eye contact. Marcus frowned. He remembered when Roman was still full of joy even after facing such hardships he always had a smile on his face and was full of energy. Roman used to always be excited to meet a new family member and get to stay with them. But after being sent back so many times he lost his excited spark.
Marcus stood up and ruffled Romans auburn hair. "Come on buddy how about we play Dragon Witch before Logan gets here?" Roman immediately perked up nodding his head so fast Marcus thought it would fly off. He grabbed Romans hand and started towards the small play area to play with Roman. A few minutes later he heard his text tone sound alerting him that Logan had arrived. "Roman, buddy come on Logans here! Let's go meet him shall we" Marcus said while grabbing Romans hand. They walked down the hall way before coming to the front office where Logan was waiting.
Logan wore a black polo shirt with dark blue jeans and a blue, green, and yellow tie. He had black glasses that went over his dark blue eye's and hid dark brown hair was neatly gelled back in a very professional matter. He was tall and his jaw was set firmly as he noticed Roman and Marcus he watched them with a cold look in his eyes. Needless to say Roman was very intimidated.
Marcus swallowed his own fear before plastering on a large smile. "You must be Logan. I'm Marcus and this little guy is Roman. Can you say 'Hi' Roman" Marcus asked poking Roman a bit. Roman his behind Marcus's leg and gave Logan a small, shy wave. Logan just looked at Roman before holding his hand out to Marcus to shake. "Yes I am Logan. I am here to pick up Roman." Marcus shook his had as was slightly taken aback at Logans cold formal tone. "Yah. We just need you to sign a few things and I need to talk to you about Roman a bit and they you can take him home."
"That seems adequate" Logan started to walk with Marcus to his small office and sat down. Marcus handed Logan some legal documents for him to sign. When he had finished Marcus asked a coworker to copy them while he talked to Logan. "So Logan I thought it would help you if I filled you in on Roman a bit more."
"I have read his file's that you have sent me. It said he has been though 8 different family members homes the past year if I am correct. I must say I have never been the biggest fan of my cousins they always tended to be too self centered for my liking. It also said due to the accident Roman has an injured leg he requires a brace for and a PTSD diagnoses. Those are the main points I was able to gather from your records."
Marcus was stunned to say the least. He had memorized all that in the 2 weeks he had been informed about Roman? Marcus took a breath before be spoke.
"Yah thats all something I wanted to talk to you about but theres some more. For one Romans other guardians weren't exactly the nicest too him. They were constantly berating him and never really wanted him in the first place. So they would keep him for a little bit before sending him back. Roman's a smart boy though it's not so obvious at times and being bounced around from home to home has really effected him, so if he takes a bit to warm up to you don't be surprised. Also I wanted to talk to you about some of his triggers and how to deal with any episodes or panic attacks."
