Skywalker Twins [Book 1]

Freya and Obi Wan are removed from their cells and taken to an outside stadium that had four pillars at the far end. The two are dragged from the cart and chained to a post.

"They'll get here. Don't worry," he told the young girl, even though he wasn't sure himself.

"I'm not. I do not care," Freya responded flatly, she looked at Obi Wan with nothing but anguish in her eyes.

"What happened Freya? Why do you look so defeated?" 

"My mother is dead. I wish to be with her. I never should have left her in the first place,"

Obi Wan was about to reply when the crowd erupted in cheers again, drowning the sound of his voice. Another cart exits the tunnel that they had just come from, this one had Padme and Anakin as it's passengers.

"I was beginning to wonder if you had gotten our message," Obi Wan told Anakin as him and Padme were pulled from the cart and led towards the posts.

"I retransmitted it as you requested, Master. Then we decided to come and rescue you." Anakin replied, as his arms are pulled over his head.

Obi Wan looks up at the chains holding his hands before back down to his Padawan, "Good job!" he responded sarcastically. Anakin looked past Obi Wan at his sister, sending her a smile, retrieving only a smaller one in return. Anakin frowned as one of the Geonosians started to talk.

"The felons before you have been convicted of espionage against the Sovereign System of Geonosis. Their sentence of death is to be carried out in this public arena henceforth."

The crowd exploded in roars and cheers. The Geonosian rises and the crowd falls silent.

"Let the executions begin!" he spoke making the crowd go wild again. From different gates, four monsters are released. One is a Reek which is a red and grey bull-like creature, one is a Nexu which is a catlike predator, one is a Gutkurr a vicious insect predator and lastly an Acklay a crab-like creature. They are directed towards the Jedi and the Senator by Picadors, that rode Orrays and carried spears. The poke the predators towards the four posts

"I've got a bad feeling about this." Anakin spoke as the creatures roared and started moving toward them.

"Anakin, take the one the right. I'll take the one in the middle and Freya take the one on the left." he instructed as his eyes stared directly at the oncoming beasts.

"What about Padmé?" Anakin asked, as he looked at her designated creature. The Nexu. Obi Wan looked up as Padme finished climbing up her post. She had used a wire she kept hidden to pick the lock on one of the restraints. 

"She seems to be on top of things." he commented, Anakin turns his head to look at Padme to find she's not there anymore, he then looks up to see her standing on top.

"Come on, Freya. Suicide is not the Jedi way. If not for yourself. For Anakin," Obi Wan pleaded as the creatures continued to advance. Freya looked over his shoulder to her brother and then to the ground. 'This isn't what mama would want for me. Ani needs me more than ever, just like I need him,' Freya nodded at Obi Wan then turned to her creature. The Gutkurr.

The Reek charges Anakin but he jumps up, out of the way, and the beast runs into the post. Anakin lands on its back. He then wraps his chain around its horn. The creature backs up, shaking its head aggressively, tearing the chain from the post. Freya does the same as Padme, apart from unlock her restraints. She climbs to the top of her post, ignoring the burning pain in her wrist, to get away from the predator. It begins to smash it's head into the post, making it shake at the force. To her right, Obi wan ducks as his creature swings his sharp claw at him. It cuts his chain, releasing him from the post as he continued to avoid the beast's swinging claws.
