Chapter 14 - Battle Of Geonosis

The Nexu begins to claw up Padme's post. At the top, Padme is struggling to tear her chain free. As the creature reaches the top of her post, she uses her chain to whack the beast away. In response, the beast dug it's claws into her back. It slides back down the post and stared up to her from the ground.

The Acklay continues to swing it's claws as Obi Wan rolls out the way. Anakin loses his balance and falls off the horned beast and is dragged around the arena. Freya's post grows weaker after each knock, cracks circling where the beast's head hits. She looks over to Padme as the Nexu begins to claw it's way back up to her. She jumps off her post, swinging on her chain and kicked the beast off the post, disabling it momentarily. She then climbs back up the post as it returns to it's feet. As Obi Wan ducks out of the way from the claws once more, he ends up behind Freya's post. The Acklay runs head first into her post and it tumbles down, taking Freya down with it. The Gutkurr then slowly advances towards her, she backed away as far as the chains would let her. The beast growled at her as it paused at the fallen post. She looked around at her friends. They were using whatever they could, she was going to as well. She crossed her legs, her hands placed softly in her lap. She blocked out the noise from the crowd and the beasts. The middle section of the post started to levitate. The Gutkurr stalked closer and closer until she dropped the post on it's head. Repeatedly until it was no longer concious.

As a Geonosian rushes towards Obi Wan he grabs his spear and chucks him off the Orray. The Geonosian tumbles into the sand, where he is then trod on and impaled by the Acklay. Anakin calms the horned creature down using the force and steps slowly towards it before jumping on. Freya and Padme continue to try and unlock their restraints. Freya didn't know when, if it did, her creature would wake up and she was currently sitting right next to it.

The Reek starts to buck as Anakin leaps onto it's back. He whips the chain it's mouth. Its jaws clench the chain. After gaining control, Anakin begins to ride it. Obi Wan jabs the spear towards the Acklay, dodging it's oncoming dagger-like claws.

Padme manages to unlock her other restraint. As the Nexu gets ready to make another leap at her, Anakin charges up to it, knocking it unconscious with the horned beast. "Jump!!!" he called up to her.Padme jumps from the top of the post and lands behind Anakin and kisses his cheek. He then directed the Reek towards Freya who was still trying to yank her chain free. Padme dismounts from the beast and ran towards her. Dropping to her knees, Padme picks the locks on Freya's restraints, soon freeing her from the chains. They ran to the beast and jumped on. Pulling on the chains, Anakin then headed towards Obi Wan.

Obi Wan throws the spear at the Acklay and it pierces it's skin. The Acklay then pulled the spear from it's body and snapped it in it's jaw. Obi Wan's eyes widened as he ran towards his approaching Padawan, leaping onto the beast and landing behind Freya.

Seven Droidekas roll to the middle of the arena surrounding the Jedi and the beast. The droids unroll and take aim at them. Freya closed her eyes as the droid in front of the beast moved towards them. Her eyes flew wide open when she felt a familiar presence. Looking around, she notices a familiar face, "Master," she whispered. Obi Wan follows her gaze, looking up to see many Jedi igniting their lightsabers.

Mace Windu leaps into the air, dodging the oncoming flames but his robe gets caught. As he lands inside the arena, he ditches the burning robe. The Geonosians then start to depart from the arena as hundreds of droids swarm through the gate. The Jedi run to the centre of the arena to engage the battle droids as three Jedi give lightsabers to the three on the Reek. Anakin cuts Obi Wan's restraints and he slices Anakin's. Freya dismounts from the Reek and joins the battle.

"Having fun without me?" a familiar voice from behind Freya, asked. She turned around to see the smiling face of Kit Fitso.

"I wouldn't dream of it, Master," she spoke with a smirk as she ignited her lightsaber. The two fight together as Ki-Adi-Mundi approaches to check on his Padawan, still deflecting oncoming bolts.
