Later that night, Ronny and Nuggs excused themselves from dinner. They were both confused... And concerned.
Is Kukki really as bad as Anne says she is? And if she is, should they tell anyone? And most importantly, where's Luce??
They talked to each other about this stuff, and soon they decided to just rest it off, let their minds decide what they should do while they slept.
So, they wished each other a good night and headed to bed. Little did they know, that was a very bad mistake...

Nuggs woke up with a jolt. 'Man, what a weird ass dream...' they thought to themselves. They stretched and looked around, and then realized this isn't the place they remembered falling asleep at..
"What the hell?" they asked themselves. "Ronny? Kami? Kage? Brit? Kukki? Luce? Hammy?" they called out. No response. They got up and yawned once more. "What the fuck is going on...?" they asked, as if though the weird... Dark place would give them an answer.
"Ah, you're up!" someone exclaimed. Nuggs jolted a bit. "What the- who said that?" they called out.
The person who spoke made their appearance: they had medium lengthed hair, they were entirely black, and they had a red outline.
Nuggs immediately recognized that outline.
"Luce? Is that you? Holy shit, what happened to you?? And why do you look like this-"
Luce placed his finger over Nuggs' mouth. "Shhhhh.... Too many questions..." Luce said. Nuggs stayed silent.
"I don't have much time, so I'll tell you this... You need to leave. With everyone. Except Kukki. She's a fucking bitch."
Nuggs seemed shocked. "What did she do, Luce..?" they asked.
Luce giggled. "THIS!" he screamed, pointing at himself. "THAT FUCKING BITCH TURNED ME INTO THIS... MONSTER!! SHE'LL PROBABLY TURN EVERYONE ELSE INTO A MONSTER IF YOU DON'T LEAVE THIS HELL HOLE SHE CALLS 'HOME' IMMEDIATELY!!" Luce stopped screaming to catch his breath before realizing Nuggs was tearing up.
"... I'm... Sorry..." he said. Nuggs just nodded, throat too dry to talk.
Luce put his hand on Nuggs' shoulder. "Listen, buddy... Please... Get out of here... Save everyone... You can do it... I know you can..."
Nuggs looked away. "How..? I'm not special! I'm not the protagonist of this bullshitting story!"
Luce shook his head. "I know, but you don't need to be special or strong to save at least..." he started using his fingers to count the people in the base. "Five people I believe?"
Nuggs seemed uncertain. "Nuggs, all you need is to be trustworthy and kind. You can get everyone out of here. Alive. Safe. Y-"
Nuggs shook their head. "Ok, ok. I'll save them. Just please stop talking, long inspirational talks bore me."
Luce groaned. "Ungrateful bitch.." he muttered. "Look, just get everyone out of here, ok?"
Nuggs sighed. "Fine, fine." Luce smiled. "Thank you.." he said before disappearing right in front of them. Nuggs seemed a bit shocked, but they shook it off. "So I gotta save everyone, huh?" they asked themselves. "... Seems easy enough to be honest.." they said.
They looked around. "Still have absolutely no idea where I'm at though..." they said. "You're in the room I was killed in." a voice coming from their head said. Nuggs jumped. "T-the voices in my head?? Are alive??" they asked.
The voice sighed. "No, Nuggs. It's me, Luce." Nuggs started to calm down.
"... How the fuck are you in my head?" they asked. "I'm a parasite. I'll be living here for a while until I find someone else to live inside."
"Kinky"
"Indeed"
"Wait-"
"So I guess I'll navigate you through this place... It's some place in the base, plus everyone's asleep still." Luce said.
Nuggs nodded. "Alright.."
And so, Luce navigated Nuggs out of the dark room, and once they were out, Nuggs fell back to sleep, hoping no one noticed they were gone. But while they were sleeping, they were thinking of ways they could get everyone the hell out of there. Luce helped, a bit.
Unfortunately, not everyone was asleep at the time. Fortunately, the person who wasn't asleep wasn't Kukki. It was... The child. Kami.
Kami was a bit concerned, seeing Nuggs leave a mysterious room that she didn't even know existed..
... She wanted to know what they were doing...
And if she wanted to know...
She was gonna know.
No matter how much Nuggs persisted.
