"That sounds great!" "Perfect!" "Let's go!" You all left the hotel took to look for another place to live and came across another building.

"Hmm...Guys?This place seems too good to be true."

"Last time a place was too good to be true, we ended up rooming with a few cats for a couple of days and I don't want to go through that again." You sighed.

"Look innocent enough." "The ad said it was vacant, it has plenty of apartments for everyone."

" I...Don't know guys, I'm getting weird feeling from this place still." "Well, we won't know until we meet the landlord!"

"Where is he by the way?" "Maybe he's inside, let's go find out." "Wait for me buddy!"

"Guys! Wait! Ugh, this is just like them. Y/N, hold my hand and stay close. I don't like this place." Aphmau sighed.

"Mkay Aph." You smiled, doing as told.

With that, you two followed the boys.

When you both entered, the place actually looked fairly. "Huh...This place looks nice." "Really nice." You heard Garroth and Laurance say.

"G-Guys...We shouldn't be in here. We weren't let in."

"Don't worry Aphmau. I have my ears on high alert and my scent on overdrive. Everything is gonna be fine." You nodded.

"Exactly. Its fine, don't worry."

"Okay...Well--" The door suddenly shut and the lights flicked out.

You jumped and felt your tail stick up straight.

"Hey, who turned out the lights?" "Don't look at me!" "Okay, Maybe this was a bad idea."

"Garroth!? Laurance! Y/N! Where are you guys!" Aphmau called.

You opened your eyes and for someone reason only saw Aphmaus.

Not her body but just her eyes.

"Over here! Follow my eyes!" "Is anyone else concerning we can clearly see each other's eyes?" "Nah." "No, not really."

"Yeah, this is more like a scene creators do when they don't want to animate or body at the scene." "Exscuse me!?" "What? I said it. You wrote this." "Nice script writing Jess." You sighed.

"Hah! I have no idea what you're talking about! Stop breaking walls!"

"What are you talkin about? There are no walls! Look I'll show you." Garroth did something that caused him to end up on the floor.

"Ow! Okay, so there are some walls still." "This place is dark..." You muttered.

"See? Told ya'~" "Ah, who knows that now. Glad you put effort into smashing my face!" Garroth growled.

"Oh come here and say that to me, Eyeballs!" "Oh now it's on!"

"Guys, come on! We need to find a light switch or a way out to--...Uh...Guys? Who's eyea are those?"

"Huh? What eyes? Uh--Aww...They're so low on the ground!"

Now that anyone could see it since its so dark.

"It might be a tiny little kitty! C'mere kitty, Kitty~" Aphmau continued to croon at the eyes you prayed were a cat as you slowly backed up until you ran into Garroth.

It then rose in height cutting Aphmau off.

"Ohhh nooo..." She muttered.

You three screamed in fear before the lights came back on.

You looked foreward to see a blond male with light blue eyed and a brow haired male with piercing preen eyes.

"What the--!?" "Hello and Welcome!"
"To your new home!" The two grinned. "You practically scare me to death!" "Hahaha! You can blame my brother for that one."

"I'm a huge fan of spooks!" "Are you guys the landlords?!"

"Yep!" "What's the big idea scaring people like that?!" "Not cool! Not funny!" You and Laurance yelled.

"Halloween's almost here!" "Its September!" Garroth scoffed.

"Actually, he's got a good point. Halloween is almost here."

"Again, our apologies for that. We didn't mean to scare you guys too much. We just like to put on a show! Because if you got a scare out of that, you'll get the scare out of the low prices to rent this place!"

"Come again?"

"I was introduced ourselves! We are the Phoenix Brothers!" "Phoenix Property Brothers to be exact! We're here to help you find a home with no contract!"

"Aha! You mean SOME contract!" "Some contract!" The two continued to bicker as you four just stared, still shaken by the scare those two gave given.

"Well, that's nice of you boys but I don't think I want this place after the scare we got from you too." Aphmau smiled, voice trembling.

"No worries! We can easily help you find another place, that's her job after all!"

You, for some odd reason, found yourself feeling fimilar to the boys. As if you've known them before. It almost made your tail slightly wag.

"If you don't like this place, maybe we'll show you around town!" "Really?" "Can we trust them?" "Hey! It helps us, what harm can it do?"

Back at the hotel you curled up in a ball on the floor, Terrified at all of the scares the two Property Brothers kept doing.

"Ugh, Those Property Brothers kept scaring us..." "Whoo! So psyched for Halloween now! Ahaha!"

"Its September! Sep-Tem-Ber!" Garroth growled. 

When Aaron walked in his smiled at the sight of Laurance.

"Hey Laurance! To see ya'! Um, Ar-Are you guys okay?" "Aaroooon...." You groaned,.hugged the side of his arm.

"No...more...spooks..." Laurance muttered before him and Garroth kicked the bucket and fell asleep with you slowly giving into sleep as well while leaning on Aaron.

He chuckled and lifted you up to hold you.

"Aph? What's going on?" "Ahh, just a long day." "Are you okay? You look pale, like you seen a ghost.."

"Whaat? Me? Huh...Nah...I'm just very---" Suddenly there was a bump making Aphmau shoot up.

"AH! SPOOKS! AH!" She yelped.

"Uhh...Okay..?" Aaron chuckled at your sleeping face and placed you in bed next to Laurance.

You instinctively got closer to the male for warmth as he draped an arm over you.

You smiled in your sleep as did Laurance.

It was good to have him back.
