The Multiverse (QuickSilver x Reader)

Your POV:
You stood there staring at a face you already knew.
"KURT!"
You hugged the boy in front of you as if you had known each other for ages.
You let go and made eye contact with him.
He looked extremely uncomfortable, which was understandable.
Hank walked over to him and said
"She's just excited. She's only ever seen you guys in comics."
Nightcrawler looked back at you and gave you a slightly forced smile.
"Kurt, why don't you show y/n up to her room?"
Kurt grabbed your shoulder and suddenly you were in a completely different section of the school.
You were in a big room with two big beds and a large window with a view of the garden.
"Wow, this is insane."
Kurt looked over at you for a second as you inspected the room.
"So... you're really from a different universe?"
"I mean... yeah. I don't even know what my mutant abilities are yet."
"Well, some people know since the time they are born. It just comes naturally to them. For other people, their powers are revealed at random moments."
You looked out the window to see a boy with grey hair.
"QuickSilver..."
You whispered to yourself.
You started hitting the window to get his attention.
"I don't think he can hear you from there."
You turned around to see Kurt smiling.
"I just wanna get his attention."
"Why?"
"Alright, you can't tell anyone this, but I have had a crush on Peter Maximoff for a while now. Ever since I watched X-Men: Apocalypse."
You turned back towards the window and looked at Peter.
"What, is that some TV show about us, or..."
Suddenly Peter looked over at something out of your view and held out his hand.
The smile slowly faded from your face as you saw a girl walk towards him and take his hand.
Kurt walked towards you and looked out the window.
"That is Storm."
"Yeah, Ororo Munroe."
"Oh, so you know her?"
"Sort of..."
You pressed your hand against the glass.
"They have been an 'item' since the whole Apocalypse incident."
"That's when she joined the team."
You replied, remembering the movie.
"Yes."
Kurt nodded. He waited for a moment before breaking the silence.
"Is there anything else you need?"
You shook your head, never breaking your gaze away from Peter and Storm.
Kurt stood their for a moment before you could see a puff of blue smoke near you.
You stared down at Peter when suddenly he turned around and looked up at you.
Your eyes went wide, unsure of what to do in the moment.
He smiled and waved at you.
You laughed and waved back.
He looked away and said something to Storm. She looked up at you, then back at Peter and nodded.
Suddenly, Peter was gone.
You felt a slight breeze on your neck. You whipped around to see the one and only, Peter Maximoff.
"Hey, new kid."
You stood there, speechless.
He walked over to you from the doorway and stopped in front of you.
"So am I the best, or what?"
You shook your head to refocus.
"What?"
"In your comic books. That is you, right?"
"Oh yeah, I have tons of X-Men comic books and movies."
"Dude, that is so cool."
"Would you wanna see some of them?"
He hesitated, looking between you and the window.
"I don't have time right now, my girlfriend is kind of waiting for me, but... maybe tonight?"
"Yeah, that sounds good!"
"Alright, see you tonight."
As Peter zipped out of the room you couldn't stop smiling. You knew it wasn't a date, but it was still Peter Maximoff.
Suddenly a girl with red hair walked in.
"JEAN?!"
You shouted excitedly.
She started laughing.
"Yes, I'm Jean Grey. Also, I brought you an informational pamphlet that Hank forgot to give you."
"Haha, I don't think I'll need it. I already know a lot about Professor Xavier's school."
"That's what I told him, but he didn't listen."
She replied, tossing the pamphlet out into the hallway.
She turned back to you and saw that you were smiling.
"What are you all excited about?"
"Peter!"
"Maximoff?"
You nodded.
"I wouldn't get too excited. Storm seems to have him wrapped around her finger."
"Yeah... how did that happen?"
"None of us are really sure. After Storm joined the X-Men she seemed a little interested in Peter, but Peter has never been interested in anyone, really. Then one day, they went out to dinner or a movie or something and when he got back, he was head over heels in love."
You felt yourself start to get sick.
"In love?"
You asked, nauseous.
"Well, no. She has said it to him, but he hasn't said it back."
You started to calm down.
"Do you think he loves her?"
"I mean, I don't know. It didn't take long for me and Scott to say that to each other."
"Okay."
"Don't focus on Peter, there are a ton of people at this school who would love to get to know you."
She patted your back as she left the room.
"In love..."
You thought to yourself as the door shut.
