Karl was out for a week filming the Mr.Beast video "Buried alive for 50 hours." Don't get me wrong, Sapnap (A/N: I'M WHEEZING- MY PHONE AUTOCORECTS SAPNAP TO SUBPOENA- WHY IS THAT FUNNY TO ME-) respected the fact that his boyfriend had other things to do than constantly be with him, but it didn't ease Sapnaps bad separation anxiety. (A/N: Shhhh I have this myself let me project my issues on to people I love shhh-) He was always worried that something would happen, or that Karl wouldn't come home. A big one now with the virus is that he'd catch it and not be able to come home for longer, maybe dying in the hospital. One night, when the anxiety was really bad, Sapnap caved into his anxieties and called Karl.

Karl had left the set for the night, deciding to let Jimmy rest for a bit. He was in the car when he got a call from Sapnap, he picked up using the speakers in his car. "Hi, baby, what's up?" Sapnap tried to keep his voice steady, "I just.." He trailed off, he was currently holding a pillow (about the same size as Karl) and pretending it was Karl right there with him. "I just..f/ck." He stumbled over his words, more tears roll down his face. Karl got the hint very quickly, "Oh baby, are you okay..?" He asked, even though he knew Sapnap was very much not okay. "Baby I just miss you so d/mn much I can't-" Sapnap was cut off by a quiet sob, burying his face into the pillow in an attempt to muffle the sound.

Karl still caught the muffled sound, "Bubba, you'll be okay..I just have 2 more days okay? We can call more if it will help with your anxieties. And, I assure you I'm going to be okay." He said, his voice gentle. Sapnap seemed to calm down, just a bit, at those words. "That part about calling..that would be," He hiccuped softly, "nice...Thank you, baby.." "It's all part of being the best boyfriend ever, I can stay on the call until you fall asleep if that helps." Sapnap smiled, although Karl couldn't see it he knew it was there, "Thank you again, babe.."

Sapnap and Karl spent the rest of the night calling, well..until around midnight for Sapnap where he passed out but that's beside the point. Karl knew the challenge was ending tomorrow and started to pack up his things when he got home.

Timeskip to when Karl gets back, this is the fluffier part. I'm sorry for the angst-

Karl was tapping his foot gently, his flight would end any minute now. Sapnap didn't know this but he got an early flight home, he got one the day that the challenge ends. He was so excited to see his boyfriend, even though it was only 3 days he was gone it felt like years. He just missed cuddling his boyfriend so much, and he was finally going to be able to do it again. The pilot announced that the flight was over, they had touched ground and could exit the plane now. Karl's eyes lit up a bit, grabbing his bag and racing off the plane and the baggage area to quickly grab his bag and leave.

Sapnap was sitting on the couch, worried. Karl hadn't answered his calls, like any of them. And it was starting to worry the younger male. 'He's just busy, last day of filming and all...Yeah, just busy...He didn't forget about me, he wouldn't leave me.' He kept thinking, in an attempt to calm himself. Little did he know, he didn't want to answer because he was on the plane and didn't want to spoil his boyfriend's surprise.

Karl got in his car, after going through all the 'after a flight' stuff, and got ready to go home.

Timeskip to when Karl gets home because this is getting long and I'm tired...I've written like 3 of these today hush-

Sapnap heard a gentle knock at the door, groaning he stood up to answer it. He slowly walked over to the door and opened it, "KARL!" He screamed hugging his lover tightly. "Hi bubs!" Karl said, giggling as he returned the hug, "You act like I was gone for years, bubba I was gone for 3 days." "Longest 3 days of my life.." Sapnap mumbled out, still holding onto Karl tightly. "Babes, you gotta let go of me. I have to get inside." "You'll leave me again if I let go of you." "You can hold my hand?" "Fine.." Sapnap said, pouting a bit before receiving a kiss from Karl. After the k i s s (A/N: My humor is so dead-) Sapnap placed his hand firmly in Karl's, not letting go for anything as he put away all his things. "Watch movies and cuddle?" Karl asks, tilting his head. Sapnap's face lit up, "Yess!" He smiles.

The two spent the rest of the day cuddling and watching movies, spending the rest of the day together. In the other's arms, finally feeling safe and together.
