even shittier cell service.

People glanced at the small girl and bunny as they walked down the hall. Some in fear and some in mere curiosity.
Curiosity at how she could walk around with the unspoken monster like he was just a normal person. Fear at how likely it would be that she was a monster too. Hiding in plain sight. Waiting to strike and catch them in their most vulnerable moment
Song Hee on the other hand wondered why Cinderella's shoe fell off at the ball if it fit so perfectly? She just didn't get it. Did the evil step mother grease her shoes? Or did cinderalla just have small ass feet like her? She huffed in irritation rolling her eyes.
Ugh.
Song Hee could slowly feel herself falling into a bad mood. She missed Hyunsu so much, even tho it had probably only been a couple hours. She needed to find something to occupy her time and get her mind off of him.
She decided to go visit the makeshift graveyard. She felt a little bad for missing the funerals. She thought it would be nice to at least pay some respects to the fallen.
She pushed Boba up in her arms more and silently sauntered her way to the "cemetery".
As she got closer hushed voices could be heard. She rounded the corner to see Jae Heon making his way out.
Song Hee tilted her head confused when she saw a little fire burning in a bin. Behind the flames she could see the infamous gangster. She decided he wouldn't be too bad company to have. At this thought she walked over and sat beside him. She looked over and saw a single tear run silently down his cheek. Song Hee pursed her lips in sympathy knowing he probably lost someone. She looked down at Boba and smiled widely, an idea forming in her head.
She leaned forward to catch Sangwooks eyes and gave a gummy smile all while lifting Boba in her arms urging him to take the bunny for comfort.
"Come on I know you want too, he's too cute to resist. He'll help you a lot, he always makes me feel better when I'm down."
The gangster gave her a blank look not showing any notion that he would take the bunny whatsoever. Song Hees smile faltered and she lowered her head, slowly bringing the bunny back into her arms.
Until she felt Boba being lifted carefully out of her arms. She glanced up perplexed and smiled brighter than the stars when she saw the grumpy gangster holding the bunny tight to his chest.
"Seee I told you he helps you just have to let the Bobanator work his magic and in no time you'll be all healed."
Sangwook side eyed the young girl next to him before lifting the bunny up to his eyesight giving it a hard glare. Boba merely tilted his head and leaned forward and scrunched his nose trying to get a whiff of the older man. Sangwooks heart melted the tiniest fraction at the bunnies action he brought it in and hugged it tight closing his eyes and letting a long sigh out.
Song Hee smiled softly before feeling like she was intruding something. She stood up silently and tiptoed out of the room to go find some clothes for the man. He was covered in blood. More in likely from that weird creeper.
She remembered there being a box full of random clothes in the security office when she used to visit Mr Kim. Song Hee would visit every Wednesday and bring the officer some lunch and talk with him. She wondered where he was now, probably gonna like the rest of them.
She sighed sadly and opened the door to the security office thankful to see it quiet and empty. She walked towards the brown tattered box in the corner of the room and started shuffling around for clothes. Her hand hit something fluffy and lacy. She furrowed her eyebrows and snatched up the item. She brought it into the light revealing a lacy flower coat with a fur hood. She grimaced at the item and questioned where a person could go so wrong with style.
Suddenly her eyes zoned out and a sad memory took form in her mind.
Flashback/Memory
Song Hee was extremely happy for once she had made a new friend. Well one that didn't know who she was since she never showed her face. But it still counted.
She decided today was the day she was going to finally get the courage to talk to the boy on the bench.
And just to give her an extra boost of confidence she brought Boba with her for moral support.
"Ok now you have got to work your charm when we meet him becaus he might not like what he sees so you gotta be the beautiful one in this relationship."
They bunny merely looked around talking in the surrounding of the park.
Song Hee stopped behind her tree and took a deep breath. She nodded her head and smiled. She come out from behind the tree and was about to walk forward when she noticed the bench empty. She furrowed her brows and looked left and right for the boy. She pouted. Maybe he's late or sick? Was she at the right place?
Song Hee decided to wait for awhile incase he showed. She plopped herself down and took Boba out letting him run wild in the grass. As she was playing with her chubby bunny she continuously glanced back at the empty blue bench with a sad and sick feeling in her stomach.
Little did she know that when she came back he would be gone again. And so it went until she eventually gave up hope she would see him.
Song Hee would never see the boy until they " coincidentally" met when her bunny ran away into a "random" apartment.
~~~ I'm all done with school so I'll be updating again. Not my best but trying to get back in the groove. Hyunsu will be in the next part.
