Taeyong P.O.V
Taeyong hid in fear behind his older brother. He hates when Johnny brings people over he doesn’t know. This stranger was handsome though. He had squishy skin, nice eyes and dimples. Still he was a stranger, and Johnny said never to talk to strangers.
Johnny tried to move him again.
“Yongie, there's no need to be afraid of Jaehyun. He’s Marks older brother”
“Markie?”
“Yep”.
Taeyongs big eyes widened, he didn’t know his babysitter had a big brother like him. Now that he really looked at Jaehyun he did seem kind. He moved from behind his brother a little embarrassed. He played with the ears of his cat onesie.
“Um- I’m sorry for calling you a stranger Jaehyun, Yongie didn’t know you were Markies brother” he said cutely.
He was surprised when Jaehyun chuckled, showing his perfect teeth.
“It’s alright I don’t mind Yongie~”
Jaehyun patted his head softly, Taeyong felt his face heat up. He shouldn’t blush, he just met Jaehyun, he was just too handsome.
“Jaehyun’s going to be your babysitter today”Johnny smiled.
“I hope that’s ok,” Jaehyun asked.
“Yes!” Taeyong said excitedly.
He was happy that Jaehyun was going to watch him but also nervous.
Jaehyun P.O.V
It had been an hour and a half since Johnny left. Taeyong was a little shy at first but then opened up after showing Jaehyun his room. He went through all of his stuffed animals and their names. Right now he was playing with his favorite bunny stuffed animal.
Jaehyun watched how he cutely mumbled to himself playing with the ears. He sat next to him, Taeyong noticed and turned around waving his stuffed animal's hand.
“Hi” he said in a cute tone.
“Hi Taeyong”.
“Not me” he pouts, “Tokki-chan~”
“Oh, I’m sorry. Hi Tokki-chan~”.
Taeyong smiled happily, hugging the stuffed animal. Jaehyun secretly wished he was the one Taeyong was hugging. He looked around bored, then remembered a question he wanted to ask him.
“Taeyong?” he looked at him curiously, “Why don’t you go to school?”
Taeyong immediately frowned. Jaehyun felt bad when he saw his lip start to tremble. He hugged him on instinct trying to calm the boy down.
“I’m sorry you don’t have to answer that. I won’t bring it up again, ok” he rubbed his back.
Taeyong nodded his head in Jaehyun's shoulder. After a few more minutes Jaehyun pulled away, patting Taeyongs head.
“Yongie you want some ice cream?”.
Taeyong looked at him with those big adorable eyes.
“Johnny hyung says I can’t have too many sweets late at night”.
“Well Johnny hyung isn’t here, is he?”
Taeyong smiled so brightly Jaehyun thought he might melt. Jaehyun stood up and headed towards the kitchen. Taeyong followed behind him like a little duck. He checked the freezer and found the ice-cream.
Jaehyun got them both their own separate bowls before moving to the couch. Taeyong bounced beside him eating his ice cream happily. He turned on a movie for them to watch, while they waited for Johnny to come home.
Not even fifteen minutes into the movie Taeyong was already done with his ice-cream. He stretched. Jaehyun watched as Taeyong slowly inched closer to him, he thought it was cute how he tried to be sneaky. He moved his arm over the younger's shoulders and pulled him closer to him. He let out an adorable noise.
“Yongie if you want to cuddle, you just have to ask” he smiled at him.
Taeyong nodded his head and snuggled into his shoulders. Even though they just met today, somehow it felt right having Taeyong this close to him. As he brushed his hair with his hands he noticed how delicate Taeyong really was. He was small, thin and had a very pretty face. No wonder Johnny is so protective over him.
After the movie ended Jaehyun shook Taeyong up.
“Yongie, if you're sleepy you should go to your room” he said softly.
Taeyong rubbed his eyes, then made grabby hands at Jaehyun making his blush a little.
“Carry me”.
Jaehyun couldn’t deny him, even if he wanted too. He picked him up bridal style and carried him up the stairs. He laid Taeyong down on his bed carefully. He pushed his bangs out of his face, cooing as he leaned into his touch like a little cat.
Jaehyun tucked Taeyong in then closed the door and went back downstairs. He heard the front door open and saw Johnny come in with a disappointed face.
“Hey”.
“Hey, where’s Taeyong?”
“Up stairs sleeping”.
Jaehyun sat down on the couch and Johnny did the same.
“So, he was good then?” Johnny asked.
“Yep and you were right, Taeyong is very cute”.
Johnny stared at him a second then sighed.
“I knew it, now you've fallen for my innocent brother”.
“I have not,” he blushed.
“Relax, I’m just teasing” he ruffles Jaehyun's hair.
Jaehyun was going to hit him but decided against it.
“So, what were you doing? You don’t work today”.
“I was looking for a tutor for Taeyong”.
“A tutor?”
“I talked to him about going back to school next year, but in order to do that he needs to pass this year”.
“So you need someone to help him study for the exams?’
“Yeah and so far everyone is busy”.
“I can do it,” Jaehyun said, a little too enthusiastic.
“You just want to spend time with Taeyong”.
“That’s true but I also want to help, it's not like I have anything else to do”.
“Ok, thanks”.
Jaehyun nodded his head. It was late and he needed to head home. He got up from the couch and Johnny walked him to the door. He turned and looked at him before he left.
“John why doesn’t he go to school?”
Johnny's face turned solemn, then dark and neutral again. Was it that bad?
“I’ll explain some other time, ok”
“Ok”.
