Ross's P.O.V
I stepped out of the bathroom knowing they were going to call us on stage soon, but I was shocked to see the host of the show standing right outside the bathroom door. She had this mischievous look on her face and I could shake the feeling that she heard the whole conversation I just had. "Hi Ross, Im so excited to have you on Good Afternoon LA, today!" she pipped in a too cheerful voice for 12 in the morning. Okay 12's not early, but I was up early this morning so it takes longer to snap out of my morning fog."I'm excited to be here!" I may have overenthusiasticly jeered, and her smile fell a little. "Who where you talking to in there?" she questioned her wide hawk eyes never falling from their place, I suspect botox is to thank. "Uh, just.. someone...on the phone." I let out a quite sigh of relief, that was a good save, at least now she wouldn't think I was talking to myself... my eye twitched, like she would think I was talking to myself! The logical thing is I would be talking on the phone, now maybe she'll be more suspicious...."Well, alright then." She broke the silence and walked off, I found my way back to the make up room were everyone else was waiting, but we were ushered to stage before they had time to ask questions. We were all sat comfortably on the couch and the scary host from before took her seat across from us. The que was given and before I knew it we were live, I couldn't help but be pulled into Lena's little world of her laughing and talking to little kids, their conversation where the cutest things! Even if I was only getting one side of it. I started chuckling when I heard, "Now, Now Cruise that does not go up your brothers nose." And Riker shot me a quick side-ways glance. The hawk eyed lady peered over at me to ask me a question, even though her face was all smile their was something in her eyes that made me want to poor my most deepest of secrets out to her in fear of torture. "So Ross, I heard about your date fail, how sad. What happened?" Something in her tone made it feel like she really didn't mean the condolences, I gripped the arm of the sofa. "UH, you know...there was just a voice in my head telling me she's not the one." I got a good laugh from Lena out of it and I couldn't help but smile triumphantly. "Oh, I was thinking their was another girl involved... Like perhaps the one who where talking on the phone to earlier?" The room went silent and I felt the gaze of my siblings on my already red face. "Uh," It's like the whole room, even the furniture was waiting for a response. God, what do I say!? "Uh," I sputer out again. "I mean, That was no one, I'm intrested in, eh, she's just a friend." I sigh in relief in my save. "I see." She adds, then goes and asks Riker about Glee. My breathing catches up to me and I hope to the high heavens that they edit out my 'uhs' so it doesn't seem like i'm stalling.... OH, yeah, we're live.
Lena's P.O.V
I was in the Kitchen cutting up some apples for a snack, the boys where in the adjacent room watching a Thomas the Train movie. I was sort of absorbed in his conversation even though I knew he was absorbed in mine, but then someone must of asked him something about the date, because he said "There was a voice in my head telling me she's not the one." and I couldn't help but laugh. Then something else must of happened because he's breathing stopped and he just muttered 'Uh's.' I scrambled for the remote to the little TV that hung above the refrigerator and prayed that my neighbor had a lot of channels. I did faintly hear at six in the morning Ross saying 'Good Afternoon LA.' I found some off news station and clicked on the guide showing the 'Good Afternoon LA.' I was able to rewind some back to the part where he talks about me then I heard the Host's ridiculous question. I did't like the look on her face, like I was the girl responsible for his date fail. "UGH, who does she think I am!" I groaned, I heard Ross chuckle then whisper, "She doesn't even know who you are." I fast- forward to live and it was a commercial, which is why I guess he could talk to me. "Are you watching then." He stuttered coughing afterward, to make him seem less inconspicuous. "Yeah, nice save, too." Ii laughed then mimicked his 'uh's' I sensed his embarrassment through his tone, "You come and try this then, it's not like I can tell people I hear someone in my brain." I just laughed, "Yeah, that would earn you a one way ticket to a mental institute." The commercials where over and they where back, Ross was laughing, he had a smirk look on his face. I couldn't help but laugh, too. It was so weird watching him when we are talking, I could see how his face reacts, like where having a face to face conversation. The host would ask him questions and i'd give my best answer the way I think he would answer the question, which would get him to laugh really hard and stutter out an answer. His siblings where laughing, too, I guess they where just thinking he got the giggles, his laugh was so funny I couldn't help but laugh back and before we knew it we we're both laughing our heads off, me in the middle of my neighbors kitchen and Ross on live TV.
Ross P.O.V
After my laughing fit, we all waved our goodbyes and the show was off, my siblings and I still giggling, but the host would shoot me some weird looks, after a while I heard Lena say, "Oh, I liked that, I actually got to see you when we talked." she giggled out. I smiled, "yeah, one day I hope to see you when we talk." She just laughed and I reeled that answer through my mind again and realized I truly meant it. I really do want to see Lena, I just have no clue how to do it.
