(Kaylee's p.o.v.)

Its been about a year since I met Nik and we have been dating for about 11 months and let me tell you at first I thought it would be a really bad thing to fall for the original hybrid who has many enemies but now I think as long as we are together we will get through anything. But he has bonded with the kids a lot I mean I cant believe that Miles first word was Daddy! He was suppose to be a mammas boy but no he was definitely Nik's boy. Its kind of a little annoying at how good of a father Nik is to my children and I couldn't ask him to be a better father than he is which means I have truly lucked out when it comes to mates cause Nik being my mate is literally a blessing. He has been there for me and the kids ever since he read that letter that Anthony gave me, and if Anthony was still here he would be proud but I know he is happy with us being happy and that he's always watching over us. So how our days usually go is Nik comes over and watches the kids while I paint for my customers and sometimes he paints with me but I also help Hope with her school since Hayley wanted to homeschool her so me and Hayley teach her which is actually quite fun. But that literally leads us to where we are now. (Kaylee is 21, the twins are 3, Miles is 1, and Hope is 16) I was pulled out of my thoughts when Hope said

Hope ~ So did dad ask you out for this Saturday yet?

Kaylee ~ No why what's this Saturday?

Hope ~ Nothing he was just planning on taking you on a date and I wanted to know if I could help you get ready but he hasn't asked yet so can you do my a favor aunt Kay and not tell him I told you?

Kaylee ~ Your secret is safe with me.

Hope ~ Thanks anyways I'm done with school can I go play the kids?

Kaylee ~ Of course ill be down in a couple minutes.

I watched as she nodded then walked out of the room and after I had finished my painting I put it away neatly so it could dry and not get ruined and I started to put my painting supplies away when I felt hands wrap around my waist and I immediately knew who is was so I said

Kaylee ~ Can I help you Mr. Mikaelson?

He responded saying

Klaus ~ Actually you can by joining me this Saturday night at 8.

Kaylee ~ This Saturday? As in two days?

Klaus ~ That would be the one.

Kaylee ~ Sorry to disappoint but I have something I'm doing that night.

Klaus ~ Oh and I'm just now hearing about it? What exactly do you have going on?

Kaylee ~ I have top secret things to do with Hope.

Klaus ~ Do you now? 

Kaylee ~ Umhmm

Klaus ~ So if I go ask Hope what she's doing Saturday night she's gonna say she will be doing top secret things with you as you put it?

But while he was speaking and distracted I got some paint that I had in a cup and turned around and dumped it on his head which made it drip down his face he looked at me and said.

Klaus ~ You were just distracting me. You know starting something you cant finish isn't a good idea?

Kaylee ~ I have no idea what your talking about but I think you go a little something on your face.

Klaus ~ Do I now? I wonder how that got there.

Kaylee ~ For being an 1000 year old Original hybrid you can be very clumsy.

I said with a smile as he grabbed another cup of paint behind me before smiling and pouring it on my head making it drip down my face and then smirked knowing he got me back, making me laugh.

Klaus ~ And I'm the one that's clumsy?

Kaylee ~ Yup your still the one clumsy 

I said as he leaned in and kissed me before I pulled away and said

Kaylee ~ So Saturday at 8 sounds good

Klaus ~ Perfect, but did you really have to make the kiss short by saying that?

Kaylee ~ Oh I'm sorry now that I think about I just remembered I have pla...

Before I could finish he kissed me and said

Klaus ~ Yes you do have plans, with me.

I just smiled saying 

Kaylee ~ Um we need to clean up. You know where everything is so you can use the spare bedroom bathroom see you later

I said while giving him one last kiss and then calling Hope and saying

Kaylee ~ Hope I'm gonna take a shower you good with watch the kids?

Hope ~ Of course.

Kaylee ~ Thank you!

Hope ~ No problem.

With that I went to my room and took a shower. After I got out of the shower and got changed I walked downstairs and into the kitchen to start making dinner. I had already started making dinner when Klaus walked in saying.

Klaus ~ Anything I can help with luv?

Kaylee ~ You could do the dishes.

I said. I knew he didn't want to do the dishes but he asked if he could help so I'm gonna use him.

Klaus ~ Really the dishes don't you have something else for me to do?

I put my index finger on my chin pretending I was thinking but responded with

Kaylee ~ Nope and since you so kindly offered your help I'm going to use it so go on start with the dishes 

He looked at me and said

Klaus ~ Can I at least get a kiss first?

I walked up to him giving him a quick kiss on the lips before going back to cooking. After dinner I had done the rest of the dishes before watching a movie with Klaus, Haylee, Elijah, Hope, Sadie, Katie, and Miles. Hayley and Elijah sat next to each other on one couch with a Sadie in between them and sat by Hayley while Miles sat on Klaus's lap and Katie sat in between me and Nik. After the movie was over all the kids were out including Hope which means we had to take them up to bed and since Hayley and Nik thought it would be easier to just let Hope spend the night Hayley woke up Hope to walk her to the spare room which was practically her room here before saying goodbye while Nik carried Miles to his room and Me and Elijah carried Sadie and Katie to their room after everyone was in their beds we all said goodbye before they all left to go back to their house. I then made sure all the kids where sleeping before i walked up to my room and went to bed.
