"She's got a point." Tuffnut teased. "You get that from me."
"How did you-?" Hiccup was cut off by Astrid.
"The dragons. They knew she was reacting to the dragon root." She explained as she began stroking Oakley's hair.
"Wait, you're telling me you can speak dragon now?" Snotlout asked. She nodded.

After a few minutes, Oakley was finally awake. She opened her eyes and took in her surroundings for a moment. The memories of what happened came back to her.
"Is... Windshear okay?" She rasped out, drowsily.
"Windshear's fine, Sweetie," Heather reassured her. "How are you feeling?"
"C-Cold." Oakley shivered as she slowly sat up, blinking the world back into focus.
"I got it," Astrid assured as she shuffled closer, wrapping her arms around the young Haddock. Oakley leaned into the warmth, sighing contently.
"How are you so warm?" The brunette wondered. Astrid smirked.
"Magic."
Oakley had almost forgotten that Astrid had her powers. And that knowledge wasn't making her feel any better.

A few hours passed and Oakley was feeling much better. A little tired, but it was 4 am so that was a given.
The riders all sat in the clubhouse. Snotlout was huddled in the corner, staying as far away from Astrid as possible. He really didn't feel like being roasted alive right now.
Oakley noticed that the blonde girl beside her was being unusually quiet.
"Astrid, are you okay?" Oakley asked as Astrid winced, clearly trying to hide it.
"What's with all the noise?" She growled.
"What noise?" Fishlegs wondered. In fact, it was surprisingly quiet, given that the twins were in the room.
"The voices?" Oakley wondered turning to her girlfriend with a guilty apologetic look on her face.
"Yeah," Astrid confirmed. "Do you hear these all the time?"
"Pretty much."
Astrid looked at Oakley as if she were standing on a purple Yak singing a lullaby. In other words, she was wondering how on earth she dealt with the deafening sounds in her own mind.
"You hear voices?" Hiccup raised an eyebrow at his younger sister.
"Voices. Thoughts." She corrected. "Not just yours. Everyone's."
Astrid closed her eyes and rubbed her head. "Well, how do you make it stop?!" She cried. "My head is pounding."
Oakley sighed. She had never really figured out how to shut them out either and she knew the pain it could cause. She couldn't help but hate herself for putting Astrid through this and couldn't bear the thought of Astrid in any kind of pain. She had to think of something. And fast.
Oakley spun around, now facing Astrid. She swatted the blonde's hand out of the way and gently rubbed circles on her temples. Astrid closed her eyes and leaned into the touch.
"Focus on me. On my voice. Only mine." She whispered, softly. "Remember Vacation Island? I want you to think about that." She continued.
Astrid giggled and blushed at the memory of her and Oakley.
"Not that part!" Oakley chuckled, blushing profusely. "Remember the lagoon. And the waterfall." She explained. "Remember every sound."
A few seconds passed and Astrid let out a sigh of relief. Oakley soon did the same.
"Better?" The brunette checked.
"Better." Astrid nodded in confirmation.
Oakley backed away, much to Astrid's protest. She grabbed a journal from her saddlebag, though not the one she was usually caught writing in.
"Oak, what are you doing?" Hiccup wondered.
"Nothing. Just trying to work something out." She denied. Astrid scooted closer, leaning her head on the brunette's shoulder. Oakley wrapped an arm around the blonde, gently stroking her hair as she continued to write.
"The prophecy?" Heather asked. Oakley nodded.
"What about the prophecy?" Astrid wondered. She was still curious to know what happened after Heather left Gothi's.
"Heather and I went to see someone. An old friend of mom's. She said the prophecy we heard was wrong." Oakley explained.
"What do you mean wrong?" Fishlegs's curiosity was peaked.
"A forbidden relationship has sparked the uprise of two kingdoms as one. A night within a day, when the sky turns gray, the young one shall bring forth a time of prosperity and the two shall strike a change of leadership, fusing those kingdoms for all time, and the world will be forever changed." Oakley read.
"Forbidden relationship?" Astrid whispered. "They can't mean us, can they?"
"Well, as cute as you guys are. You haven't sparked the uprise of two kingdoms. At least, not that we know of." Heather explained.
Oakley gasped as she came to a realization. Her eyes swung open impossibly wide.
"Oh, my Gods!" She shrieked. "It's Hiccup!"
