"Connect?" Oakley thought as she paced across the arena of Dragon's Edge. "Connect how?"

"Shiva said that she told you everything you needed to know during your first visit." Hiccup reminded. "What did she tell you?"

"Well, she's a pretty cryptic person, Hiccup. I barely understood a word of it." His sister explained as she slumped to the ground in the center of the dome. "She mentioned the prophecy..."

"What about that other part?" Astrid mentioned as she joined her girlfriend, shortly followed by Hiccup. "The two worlds will become one?"

"When the ground shifts and the Heaven's bleed, two worlds will become one. On this day only the purest souls shall right what has been wronged." The brunette recited. "On this day. That was yesterday. So, everything I need to know is in the prophecy."

"A forbidden relationship has sparked the uprise of two kingdoms as one. A night within a day, when the sky turns gray, the young one shall bring forth a time of prosperity and the two shall strike a change of leadership fusing those kingdoms for all time, and the world will be forever changed." Hiccup remembered.

"A night within a day?" Astrid pondered. "Would that be the week of the midnight sun?"

"No, that would be a day within a night." Oakley dismissed. "A night within a day?"

'What about the eclipse?' StarGazer warbled.

"Eclipse?" Astrid and Oakley wondered simultaneously.

"Okay, do you know how freaky it is when you do that?" Hiccup mentioned.

"SG, what's the eclipse?" Oakley asked her dragon.

'Wow, you humans really don't know anything do you?' Toothless joked.

'An eclipse is when the moon passes by the sun, blocking out the light. It's a very important celebration in the dragon world.' Stormfly explained.

'Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing when it will occur.' StarGazer noted. 'We can usually sense it a few hours before but it only occurs every eight years.' The Stormcutter explained.

"Eight years?" Astrid wondered. "When was the last one?"

'It could be due at any time in the next year.' Stormfly told them.

'There's no way to know.' Toothless added.

"And they called me the dragon whisperer." Hiccup scoffed.

"Okay, so on the day of the eclipse... I'll bring forth a time of prosperity... and we'll strike a change of leadership... that doesn't tell me anything about mom."

"Change of leadership?" Astrid thought. "Fusing those kingdoms for all time."

"What are you thinking?" Oakley wondered.

"Think about it... What are the two kingdoms in question?" She asked.

"Vikings and dragons!" Hiccup realized.

"What are you both getting at?" His sister questioned once again.

"Oak, I'm next in line to become chief. Which means you're gonna become the leader of the dragons! Fusing the kingdoms!" Her brother explained, quite emphatically.

"That's impossible. The dragons already have a leader and until we find..." She paused.

"Oak?"

"The king of dragons." Oakley sighed to herself. "That's what Shiva meant. Find a different meaning."

"Care to elaborate?" Hiccup thought.

"All this time I've been trying to connect with Mom. I need to connect with the King of Dragons."

"How will that help us find mom?"

"She was taken by a dragon, wasn't she?" Oakley checked. Hiccup nodded. "So, if we find the king..."

"We find mom."

Oakley, Astrid, and Hiccup sat hand in hand for at least twenty minutes of silence. Hiccup really had no part to play but he sat there anyway. Oakley let out a breath she forgot she was holding as she finally let go.

"Nothing..." She exhaled. "This is hopeless." She placed her hands firmly on the ground of the arena. The concrete slowly melted around her hand. Astrid instinctively gasped and grabbed her hand, luckily panicked enough that her hand was ice cold and steam rose from the contact calming the frustrated brunette.

"Hey, you'll get there. Just breathe." She assured. Stargazer came over to comfort her rider, resting her head in her lap. A sudden breeze blew across the open arena dragging with it, a roar. StarGazer perked up instantly, bouncing with anticipation.

"What was that?" Hiccup wondered. "Was that the King?"

"Can't be." Oakley denied with a shake of her head as she stood from the ground and gazed out at the ocean. "Too small. It sounded like StarGazer."

'I know that roar!' The Stormcutter mentioned. 'I've heard it before.'

"You think you can follow it?" Oakley wondered.

'She can with my help.' Stormfly offered. Being a Tracker class meant that if she could pick up a scent she could follow it to the source.

"Lead the way."

"Stoick's daughter?" A low voice growled. "The daughter of the Berkian Chief has powers and you let her escape you?! A young girl?!"

Krogan was down on his knees. He and several hunters were covered in mud and leaves from spending weeks digging themselves out of the island Oakley and Astrid had trapped them under.

"She's stronger than she appears. I can find her! I know her weaknesses. I can bring her right to you!" He pleaded with his leader to spare his life.

"Nobody fails me twice." The larger man bellowed.

"I will not fail you again, Drago."

"You're right. You won't." Drago Bludvist grasped the smaller man by the throat, drawing his face impossibly close. "Because I'll find her myself. And when I do, I will put an end to this prophecy, once and for all."
