Mekakushi Dan Member no. 1.5, 2.5 and, 3.5

Today was the day after Kido Kei, Kido Tsubomi's "adopted" younger sister, was introduced to the whole Dan. Today we focus on Seto and his encounters for the day.

It was normal summer day. But Kousuke didn't want to get off his bed. He felt that he was still tired, yet if he overslept, he would be late for his new part-time work, a volunteer job at an orphanage.

As he kept on thinking, he remembered his own experience at an orphanage in his childhood. It was the worst part of his life. Being teased and bullied, for being a "monster". He hoped that it'll stop one day.

And it did.

He was adopted, along with Tsubomi and Shuuya, to the Tateyama Family. Where their older sister, Ayano, was able to encourage them that red wasn't the color of a monster but, the color of a hero.

"A hero, huh?" Seto thought. "I wonder, can I become a hero that onee-chan once told us about?" he wandered of in his thoughts, with a smile.

Then, as if on cue, someone knocked on the door of Seto's room. Seto was immediatly brought back to reality as he snapped himself out of his own world to get the door. It was Ayano.

"Mornin', onee-chan!" Seto greeted in his usually happy-go-lucky tone. "Good Morning too, Kousuke!" greeted Ayano.

"Umm...Kousuke?" asked Ayano. "What is it?" replied Seto. "Aren't you going to go to work early?" said Ayano. Seto quickly looked at a clock in his room. He was almost late to work.

"Shit..." he thought as he quickly closed his room's door and went for a quick shower, changed his clothes, and grabbed a piece of bread, putting it in his mouth, then ran out to the door after hurriedly saying "I'm going!", then left out the door.

"What was that all about?" asked Kei, still half-asleep. "Work." Kido quickly replied to her sister, as she cooked breakfast. Kei instantly notice Ayano and said an energetic 'Good Mornin' to her. Ayano just smiled and watched Kido, who was cooking and Kei, who was helping Kido out.

"They're so in sync, as if they were two gears shifting properly, well even though Kei is a bit more reckless and hot-headed than Tsubomi was... I guess they're the same. They're both my little sisters after all, right?" Ayano thought, as she smiled and helped her two little sisters out.

Meanwhile, Seto was having a hard time at the orphanage. The was caught for being late and as punishment, to watch over the two kids at Room #107, which were said, by the staff, as monsters. Seto was surprised when he heard his employer say the word 'monsters'. He quickly took his punishment, as he wanted to know how and why they were called 'monsters'.

He hurriedly went to Room 107, he didn't expect what he saw in front of him. He saw a girl, by all means, have a very similar appearance to Kano. But he can't see what she's wearing, as if she was masking it. But he can see that she has light brownish-blonde hair and the same color for her eyes. Like he thought, very similar to our favorite deciever.

"Um... Not to be rude but... Who are you?" asked the girl. "I'll be watching for you today. I'm Seto, Seto Kousuke, by the way! Nice to meet you!" Seto happily replied. "I'm Eyzeru, Kano Eyzeru!" said the girl, now named Eyzeru, while putting a finger to her mouth. "Shh... Keep our meeting a secret, kay?" continued Eyzeru, then she welcomed Seto in her room. Then he remembered something about watching two kids. "Umm.. Where's the other one?" asked Seto to Eyzeru. "Hmm..?" Eyzeru turned around. Now Seto can see what she's wearing. Eyzeru was wearing a blue stringed shirt with it's sleeves perfectly fitting her arms and reaching near her elbows. She was also wearing a pair of navy blue shorts, that reaches exactly her knees. "What is it?" asked Eyzeru, turning to face Seto. "Where is the other one?" asked Seto. "Oh, you mean Shiromi, right?" replied Eyzeru. Seto just nodded. "She's often gone because she goes to the forest..." said Eyzeru, as she looked at the window, while leaning at the table and crossing her arms. "... But ever since Kido-chan left us, she always went to the forest longer, but today..." said Eyzeru, tears threatening to fall.

"... She's gone long enough" said Seto. As he stood up from his indian-sit, he said to Eyzeru, "Let's go find her, shall we?", Eyzeru wiped the tears in her eyes and nodded.

After a while of searching, they found a girl who was wearing a green button-up shirt and brown shorts that reaches her upper knees, it was Shiromi, being kicked by bullies.

"You're just a monster!"

"You don't deserve to be here!"

"i don't even think a monster like you can be adopted!"

Those painful words was pierced to Seto's ears as Shiromi was being bullied. There he saw, Shiromi, putting her knees in her head, taking every hit, as if she was accepting to live her life in shame.

And then, as if his mind showed him something blurred, he remembered an old memory.

"Onii-chan!! HELLLPP MEE!!"

"SHIROMIIIIII!!!!!! NOOO!!!"

Then he began to run toward Shiromi, Eyzeru also ran to help Shiromi.

"Don't hurt her, please" said Seto.

"Oh No! Let's run!" said the leader of the bullies. And she ran away leaving the other two behind, then when their leader was gone the two said to Seto, "Forgive her, she's always like that.."

"Nah. It's alright" said Seto smiling. After the two left, they checked up on Shiromi.

"Are you alright?" asked Seto. The girl stared at her, then hugged him. At first, Seto was scared she fainted, but she didn't. "It's alright, Shiromi. I got ya" said Seto as he gently patted Shiromi's back.

After a while, they decided to return to Shiromi and Eyzeru's room. There they learned alot about each other. There, Seto also learned that Kei used to live her. Well, until Kido got a volunteer job (which she didn't tell anyone) at the same orphanage, she adopted Kei as quick as possible, after seeing her wounded badly by the owner of the orphanage.

"Thanks, Seto-san, you're a hero!" said Shiromi, with a smile similar to Seto's. And then Seto remembered what he was thinking this morning,

"Well, I've become a hero now, onee-chan!" thought Seto. "No problem!" replied Seto, with a smile.

When it was time for Seto to go, he promised that he'll come back tommorow. After he got his pay, he heard a voice saying, "YOU BRATS! COME HERE!"."Hmmm.. Must be those monsters recieving punishment. Hahaha" chuckled his employer. Seto, being concerned, peeped though the door and there he saw Shiromi and Eyzeru being hit, punched, kicked, suffering and bearing the pain not only emotionally and also physically. Painful words were thrown at them, as powerful kicks were released.

Seto bursts through the door and tried to save the two, but two strong teenagers held him back. Then he heard in his ears:

"ONIIII-CHAN!!! SAVE MEEE!!!"

"SHIROMIIII!!! EYZERUUU!!!" yelled Seto, while trying to shake the two who was helding him back, but to no avail.

He screamed and screamed, but their suffering won't end.

Then he fell into unconsciousness.

The next thing he knw he woke up in the couch of Apartment 107. Everyone was facing him. He told them everthing. And they said, they found him unconscious on the front door.

Then he said to himself,

"Shiromi... Eyzeru... I hope you're fine..."
