Kuroo's POV
Stupid rain.. I sighed and opened my umbrella before I stepped out into the crazy weather to walk home. I knew it was supposed to rain, but I didn't know it was supposed to rain this bad. Oh well, least I have the umbrella and it wasn't a terribly long walk home anyway.
On my way home, I heard some weird noise coming from around the corner. It was a little out of my way... But, I was curious. I walked over to where the noise was coming from and the noise got louder. I tilted my head when I saw a small cat poke his head our from inside of a soaked cardboard box.
"Hey, you lost?" I asked, crouching down with a tilted head. The cat meowed at me and stayed cornered in it's box.
"You don't have a tag. You must be a stray." I said to myself, extending my one hand out. The cat stared at me with big golden eyes before slowly inching out and sniffing my hand. The poor thing was soaked from the rain. I wasn't a huge cat fan, I prefer dogs, but, I felt bad for this animal. So, I took the opportunity and picked it up.
"Hey calm down I'm just getting you out of the rain..!" I said when the cat meowed and tried to swipe at me. After I said that, it seemed like it almost understood and calmed down and just decided to go limp in my arm. Weird cat.
I shrugged it off and carried the cat home. I was soaked myself... It was a lot harder to stay dry underneath the umbrella when you have a cat in your other arm. Once we were inside my apartment, I put away the umbrella and brought the cat to my room. I sat him on the floor and quickly got changed before finding a towel and sitting on the ground cross-legged.
The cat sat in it's spot and just stared at me as I laid one towel over my lap and kept the other one next to me.
"Come here. I don't actually know if cat's can get a cold from the rain, but you ned drying off." I said, the cat getting up and walking over to me. It stared at me for a few moments before stepping into my lap and curling up on the towel. I grabbed the second towel and got to work drying the cat. I couldn't help but chuckle at how the fur got all fluffed afterwards.
"Pft. Okay. Come on, you're probably hungry." I said, putting the wet towels away and picking the cat up with both hands. I went to the kitchen and set him down. Huh. I don't exactly have any cat food since I don't have a cat. I do have some chicken leftover from yesterday... I hope the cat isn't picky.
I got the chicken out and warmed it before shredding it into small scraps and stuck it on a paper plate. I put the plate on the ground and watched the cat sit down and eat. After the cat was done eating, I cleaned up the stuff and made myself some dinner. Just as I was sitting down at the table, the cat jumped up onto the table and kept bothering me.
"Hey, no this is mine. You already ate." I said, picking up the cat and putting it back on the ground. I sighed and leaned back up, only to see the cat jump back up. I rolled my eyes and just let it be. This is why I didn't want a cat. But maybe I can find a home for it tomorrow or something. I ate quietly, the cat just kind of staring at me.
This is the strangest cat that I have ever met, but he's also kinda cute. I used my free hand and pet his head, smiling faintly to hearing him purr. When I pulled my hand away, he meowed at me and pawed gently at my hand until I'd pet him again.
"You sure are bossy." I said, the cat flipping his tail and laying down over my hand, leaving me with only one hand to finish my dinner. Well, I could've moved my hand away, but, may as well let the cat be comfortable.
After I was done eating, the cat got up and watched me take my bowl to the sink. It jumped up onto the counter next to me while I did the dishes. I gave it's head another pat before yawning and picking the cat up and carrying it to my room.
"Okay, bedtime." I mumbled, setting the cat down who wandered about my room while I climbed into bed. I pulled the blanket over me, widening my eyes when the cat jumped up and stared at me as if waiting for me to shoo it away.
"Fine, come here." I said, the cat making it's way closer and curling up into my side while purring. I smiled faintly, petting it's head and back before I yawned and fell asleep myself.
Somewhere in the middle of the night, I heard a bunch of noise. I slowly sat up, rubbing my eyes. What the hell? I looked around and noticed the cat wasn't in my room and my bedroom door was creaked open. The stupid animal probably snuck out and was making a mess. I sighed, dragging myself out of bed and turning on the kitchen light while rubbing my eyes again.
"Hey kitty, where are-" I stopped, staring at the sight in front of me.

"...What the fuck?"
