One year. One year passed since all of that happened. In the meantime, Gina had been put under arrest and got send to prison. Not just because of the things she's done to Nini also because she has done worse things to other women. Another thig that changed is Ricky's and Nini's relationship.

They aren't as close anymore. They do still love each other and are happily married, but there is just some kind of emotional barrier between both after losing their child.  After the movie finished the brunette also has not taken any new jobs, Ricky on the other hand worked a lot more than usual. That obviously didn't help them the slightest.

It was just another day of Nini being home alone when Kourtney walked through the front door. She had a key, so Nini wasn't surprised. "Hey Kourt" She said with a smile on her face, which was actually real. "Hey Neens, I brought take out" The curly haired women held up a bag of take out. She smiled at her best friend before sitting down with her. "How has Ricky been lately?" Kourtney asked.

She just shrug her shoulders "Ok, I guess. I think he's scared of hurting me even more but with his behaviour he is doing the opposite. "Have you tried talking to him?"

The brunette slowly nodded her head "He wouldn't even listen to me any time I tried to bring it up." "He'll come around."

Nini sighed "Hopefully.

One morning Nini woke up with the urge to throw up. She just barely made it to the toilet before her stomach emptied itself. All the noises she made woke Ricky up, who kneeled down next to his wife.

He held her hair back while running his hand up and down her spine. "Are you sick or did you just eat something bad?" She rolled her eyes "It's not like you care" she mumbled.

He heard it though "Of course I care Neens, I love you and that will never change." "You have a funny way of showing it." The curly haired boy sat down against the wall and pulled his wife between his legs.

Then he pressed a kiss to her forehead "I'm sorry for not being here. I know it was hard for you and I know that I should have been there for you. Will you give me a chance to change that?" She nodded her head "You know I will always forgive you. I always do." He placed a hand on her hip "I know, but I want to know if you actually want me to prove it to you."

There was an awkward silence between the couple. "I messed up. I know that. But can you tell me why you don't want me to to prove that I made a mistake to you?" Nini turned around to face "Do you know what happened the last few months?"

He nodded his head "Of course I do, I was there for all of it." She shook her head "You really have no idea." "Neens you're worrying me. What happened that I didn't know of yet?"

The brunette looked at her lap and started playing with her fingers. After taking a deep breath she started talking "I tried to take my own life."

Ricky's eyes widened in shock "How? When? Why?" She just shrug her shoulders.

He put his finger under her chin to make her look at him "You can talk to me. I won't judge you." "So, I should have just come to you and told you that the way you treated me for a year is the reason my best friend had to find me trying to jump off the balcony."

He just sat there with an open mouth. "You wanted to kill yourself because of me?" To that Nini just nodded her head. The curly haired man got up and walked back into the bedroom.

She slowly followed him. "How could I let that happen?" he mumbled to himself. "How could I not notice what i did to her?" He continued saying to himself quietly. She walked over to him and hugged him "It's in the past now."

Ricky shock his head "It might be, but that doesn't mean it was something that was ok of me to do. I should have never treated you the way I did. I thought it was best for you." Tears started rolling down Nini's cheeks "It was awful for me at least." He kissed her forehead "I hated it too. Looking back at it I should have done something different to try and make you feel better."

„You think so?" He nodded his head, which caused her to giggle.

A week later Ricky came home to Nini standing on the balcony crying. He walked up to her and wrapped his arm around her waist. "Why are you crying?" She looked at him and just smiled before wiping her tears away. "You're worrying me, can you tell me what is going on please?"

The brunette shook her head before pulling inside. She pulled him all the way up the stairs to their bedroom. The two of them were standing in front of the closed bathroom door now. "Neens talk to me?" "I did something or well we did, but I have no idea how to tell you." The curly haired man pulled his wife into his chest "It's ok, whatever it is."

She just started laughing "Who said it was something bad?" With that she opened the door to the bathroom and nodded her head towards the sink.

Ricky looked at the counter to see a pregnancy test laying there. He carefully picked it up to reveal the words "Pregnant" written on it. "Are you serious?" She nodded her head while smiling brightly at him.

"I want to go to the doctor, but I wanted you to come with me." He kissed her before picking her up and spinning her around. "Are you happy?" The brunette asked her husband hopefully. He nodded his head before pressing a kiss to her forehead "Of course I am. I would be a horrible husband if not. After all I'm responsible too."

Nini finally got to have her happy end with her husband and a baby on the way. You could say all the trouble was worth it.

At least that's what she thought when 9 months later she was holding her baby girl. "Welcome to our crazy life's Hanna Julia Bowen."

That's the end of my small oneshot series. I hope y'all loved this just as much as I did.

I don't know if I made it clear, but I wanted Ricky to find Nini on the balcony. To show that she went from being on there and trying to kill herself to bring on there and being happy.

My next oneshot will be a fun one.
