Everyone was trudging in the forest so they could find Steve's car and go report to Hop. It was a crisp night in Hawkins, Y/N and Max were talking to each other, Steve led the way, Lucas and Dustin were planning something.

"What's your brother going to say if he finds you here?" Y/N probed while she dusted the dirt off her outfit she wore yesterday.

"I don't even want to think about that," Max told her, shaking her head.

"Well now we know that the thing eats more other than cats," Steve commented, looking over at the group.

Lucas stopped Dustin in his tracks, "Wait, cat? Dart ate a cat?"

"No, what?" Dustin lied and shook his head in denial.

"What are you talking about? He ate Mews," Steve added, shrugging.

"Steve, oh my god," Y/N hit his arm, making him flinch, "Just shut up."

"Mews? Who's Mews?" Max pondered.

"Oh, it's Dustin's cat," Steve cluelessly answered.

"Steve!" Dustin panicked.

"I knew it you kept it!" Lucas exclaimed.

"No! No no I didn't," Dustin denied while Max and Y/N we're looking at them, "He missed me, he wanted to come home-"

"Bullshit!" Lucas yelled.

"I didn't know it was a demogoron."

"Oh and you admit it," Lucas snapped.

"Guys who cares, we got to go," Max chimed in.

"I care, you put the party in jeopardy!" Lucas shouted, "You broke the word of law."

"SO DID YOU YOU!" Dustin towered him and flashed the light on Max's face, "You told a stranger the truth!"

"A stranger?" Max demanded.

"Well I could say the same thing for you, you told Y/N!" Lucas shouted at him.

"She protected us okay?" Dustin defended, "And she's my cousin and we trust her!"

"Yeah, but we never agreed to tell her!"

Steve seemed to have trailed off and heard these vague roars from afar. "Guys...."

The boys and girls continued to fight and Steve had to speak up louder, "GUYS!"

Everyone jumped and turned to Steve who was talking, "I think I heard those same roars from things," Steve noted. "We should go follow them, and maybe we could end them."

"Steve, that shit's dangerous," Y/N said as all of them followed him.

"It leads to the west," Dustin says and turns to Lucas, "It leads to the Hawkins Lab."

They all trudged along the empty woods in search of the source of the noise, hearing a strange noise, apparently, it was the near the Hawkins Lab, where Dustin had told her about. They seems to get closer as they all saw a road.

"Hello?" A voice from afar said, "Who's there?!"

The kids crept closer to the voices and suddenly found Nancy and Jonathan. After days of them being gone, they had appeared near a hospital.  "Steve?" Nancy and Jonathan both questioned, "Y/N?"

"Nancy?" Steve began walking closer to them, with the kids behind.

"Jonathan," Y/N walked forward.

"What are you doing here?" Nancy shouted at Steve and Y/N, finding it odd that they were near each other.

"What are you doing here?" Steve snapped back at her.
