"Hey, have you heard. Aleck Russo and Grant Carter were injured because some thugs beat them up! " Indigo said enthusiastically like the news of her school mate getting beaten up is the most wonderful gossip in the world. Mhyr and Harmonee listened silently then encouraged Indigo to speak more because they knew that there's no stopping Indigo when she started speaking.

"Grant and Aleck was hospitalized because of broken jaw and hands! "

"that's crazy, is that why they've been absent for a week? " Mhyr asked. Though she don't really know who the heck Grant and Aleck is, but trust Indigo to know gossips.

"Shh. Yes.  Hey hey that's Aleck! " Indigo quickly said then pointed at a small boy walking inside the canteen. The boy is around 5'7 and he's quite thin. His face has only some scratch in it but his hands and arms have a visible cast in it. 

" man those thugs are scary look at his face! "Indigo commented while putting a fries in her mouth.

"Indigo that's his natural face! " Mhyr reprimanded making Indigo snickered while Harmonee just chuckled at her friend's interaction.

"You girls really do love to gossip don't you? " Quisha asked sassily in her seat beside Harmonee. They are now officially dating and Harmonee invited Quisha to join their table during lunch.

"Of course we do. We even gossiped about you all the time because that's the only time Harmonee listens and talk! " Indigo boasted making Mhyr and Harmonee hide their faces.

"Yeah, you gossiped about me? " Quisha asked while glancing teasingly on the flushed girl beside her.

"No we didn't " Harmonee said hesitantly.

"Yes we did" Indigo answered haughtily completely oblivious by the fact that both of her friends are dying in embarassment.

"I can even remember the last gossiped about you is that you were kicked out of your house because you were caught having sex with someone! " Indigo proudly answered like she just passed a graded recitation with her wonderful statement.

"Indigo, shut up! " Mhyr groaned and Harmonee just shrank further in her seat.

"is that true though? " asked Indigo nonchalantly making Quisha chuckled.

"nope. I am living alone in my grandmother's house,who will kick me out?" Quisha asked then both of them stopped talking when a boy with a bandage on his nose and a cast on his hand suddenly approach them.

" your Grant, right? I saw your friend Aleck earlier on the other side of the canteen. You're on the wrong table, buddy" Indigo said while the boy looked down.

"Are you Quisha Collins? " the voice beside the boy made Harmonee and Mhyr look as well. It was Mr. Cortez, the school guidance counselor.

The three girls looked confusedly at Quisha. Why did the Guidance Counselor want to talk to her? And why is Grant who looked really beaten up trembled when Quisha said 'yes'.

"Well girls, hate to interrupt your lunch but allow me to talk to Ms. Quisha Collins. Thank you" Mr. Cortez said then motioned to Quisha to go to the office.

Harmonee hold Quisha's hands in worry when she was about to stand up and leave.

Quisha smiled reassuringly at Harmonee. "It's okay, he probably just wants to know about student tally. I'm one of the school's representative remember? " Quisha said softly making Harmonee hesitantly let go of her hand and smiled at her.

"See you later then" she said then Quisha whispered    later.

When Quisha walked away, the three frowned when Aleck followed Quisha to the office as well.
