You smiled back at Zuko as you headed towards the door, feeling a little disappointed that you had to leave. The two of you were enjoying your time together in his room, but even though you were friends you still had to do things as his attendant. Leaving the room, you closed the door behind you and headed down the hall towards the kitchen to pick up Zuko's lunch.

But as you walked down the hall, you noticed someone approaching from up ahead. It was a girl you hadn't seen before. She looked a little younger than you and as she got closer you realised how intimidating she looked. Getting closer, she noticed you and started heading towards you. It took you a moment to realise who she was, your eyes widening when it hit you. Zuko had warned you about his younger sister Azula, mentioning how she wasn't a very nice person.

When she was a lot closer, you noticed that she had moved directly in front of you. You didn't hesitate to get out of her way, but watched as she did it again. You tried to move out of the way once more but she moved into your path, this time being too close. Having the Princess right in front of you, you stopped walking and offered her a kind smile in hopes that she would be nice in return.

"What're you doing?" she asked, leaning very close to you. Not wanting her to get right in your face, you lent back and continued to smile awkwardly.

"I-I'm going to retrieve Prince Zuko's lunch, Princess Azula," you stuttered out, trying to sound as professional as possible. You also tried to follow all rules that were assigned to you with Zuko, refusing to look up into Azula's eyes.

"And who exactly are you?" she followed up, looking you up and down. Swallowing the lump in your throat, you took a step back and bowed to her.

"My name is (Y/n), I'm Prince Zuko's new attendant," you told her, hoping that she would leave you alone. In your peripheral vision, you watched as her lips curved upwards into a smirk. She lent forward again, getting into your personal space once again. This time you tried to not let it bother you, remaining still even though your noses were almost touching. There was really nothing you could do, knowing that even though she was young that she had a lot of power.

"Well, little miss (Y/n). You better not mess up because I'll be looking for any chance to punish you," she snickered. She watched as you cowered before her, failing to hide how fearful you were of the younger girl.

"Do you understand?" she teased, knowing that you were extremely embarrassed by what she was doing to you. Nodding your head, you didn't hesitate to verbally answer her. You feared that she would do something to you if you messed up.

"Yes, Princess Azula." She watched you with interested before walking past you. Seeing that she was leaving made you happy, feeling relieved that this encounter  was over.

"You can go now," she said, looking  back over her shoulder at you. Nodding, you attempted to take a step forward only to feel something in the way of your foot. Not being fast enough, you tripped over it and fell forward onto the ground. The sound of laughter from behind you exposed the culprit, your teeth gritting in annoyance after being treated so badly by Azula. But you were finally free once you both saw a girl with a long braided pony tail up ahead.

"Azula, come on!" she girl encouraged, gesturing for the Princess to follow her. Azula moved to she stood in front of you, not bothering to look back as you remained on the ground.

"Remember what I said," she reminded, her tone a lot more serious this time. Her whole attitude changed to one much more light hearted a moment later as she ran over to join her friend. You watched them from the ground, only bothering to get up once you knew she was gone.

Brushing your dress off, you hoped that you hadn't ripped it since you'd probably get in trouble for that. Luckily enough, the dress was fine and so were you. Not being injured, you now only had to deal with the embarrassment you felt for having to submit to Azula. She was a terrifying girl, it being very clear that she would take any opportunity to punish you.

She was the kind of person you imagined everyone in the Fire nation to be like, initially thinking that they were all harsh and uncaring. Azula seemed to enjoy seeing you cower before her, feeling no regret after talking down to you like a misbehaving pet.

Taking a deep breath, you knew that you needed to try and forget about this. Heading towards the kitchen, the staff there were kind and gave you Zuko's lunch to take back to his room. But as you carried it back to his room, you couldn't stop thinking about what Azula had said. After meeting Zuko, you felt safe. He assured you that he wouldn't let anyone here hurt you, but now you weren't so sure he'd be able to protect you from his sister.

A bit shorter than usual but here's your introduction to Azula. Sorry for the long wait, I hope you enjoyed the chapter :)
