"So where are they being kept, anyways? Vance, Kovalev, and Pearce?" I asked, as the airlock door closed behind us. I was doing my best to try and make any sort of small talk.

"They're all up around the captain's old quarters, I believe. Not sure of the exact arrangements, but for whatever reason Yashina saw fit to specifically tell us to take them there. To me, it sounded like he had some sort of dispute with Blokhin, or maybe Martin a bit back, but... eh, not my place to say."

The loud buzzing returned as the airlock in front of us opened. After we got back on the freight elevator and went up to Deck B, we then began walking towards the Captain's quarters, which actually weren't too far away, at about the port midsection of the ship. Upon turning the corner, we both saw that they had an interesting setup there. A singular person was standing guard - a spotted hyena, with a nametag reading Becker - sitting in a folding chair at one end of the corridor. She had a stun shotgun leaning against her chair, safety thankfully on. At the other end, the corridor had been pretty much blocked off by two stacks of folding tables forming a wall. Also of note was how the doors of the quarters where people were presumably being held were simply blocked by folding chairs. It certainly looked like it would work, but it did also seem like a fairly poor solution.

"You guys here to give'em food?" Becker asked, looking up from the laptop she was writing something in. "You should just need to pull the chairs away. I know what you're thinking, and I'm just gonna say that it's a temporary measure. Even then, they haven't been rowdy. The guy that got shot earlier was yelling at me through the door for a bit, but they've calmed down."

"Yeah. I don't think they'd even be able to do much if they did get out," I commented, motioning towards her shotgun. "Sorry if I take a bit. I'm friends with a couple of them, and I just want to make sure they're alright."

"Fine by me," she answered, looking back down at her laptop. "Just don't stage a prison riot. That goes for you too," she added, pointing to Molotov, without looking up.

"Right," he laughed, before turning to me. "See you in the mess hall."

I took the cart to the closest of the available doors, of which there were three. Judging from the name placards, Blokhin and Martin's old quarters were next to the tables, and would be the last room I got to. I first knocked on the one labeled with RUADHRI and TRETYAKOV. After not getting any response, I pulled the folding chair out of the way and then slowly opened the door. The inside of the room was dark, and I saw a lynx, presumably Lieutenant Kovalev, laying down on the rightmost bunk. I was worried for a second that he had somehow died, but quickly realized that he was simply asleep. Not wanting to wake him up, I simply dropped a ration pack on the floor and slid it lightly along the floor towards the bunk with my forepaw. I closed the door behind myself and pushed the chair back into place.

The next quarters were labeled with KASPAR and ANGHELESCU. Like before, I knocked and then pulled the chair out of the way. I got a response from the other side, but I could immediately tell they weren't Marine. All they had to say was a fairly tense "What?" I figured that this was Pearce. Sure enough, my thoughts were confirmed after I opened the door, this time seeing a grayish-brown wolf standing there. "What do you want?" he repeated.

"I've got food," I answered, as I slowly picked up a ration pack from the cart. "I'm on your side," I whispered. "Understand that I can't just break you, or anyone else out right now." I said that so quickly that I was worried he may not have even been able to figure out what I said, but he thankfully seemed to get it.

"Hold up, what meal item is this?" He said, loudly, then mouthing "Plan?" to me.

"Hmm... number six, it looks like." They were all number six. "I'll see if I can find you any others." I then began whispering. "Trust me, you'll know when." I bent over and pulled out three additional ration packs, all of which, as mentioned, were the same menu item. "Take your pick," I said, putting each on top of the cart.
