A round kick brought the tip of the trident down to the ground, where it was thrust towards the direction of the Destruction Devil. Keith was kicking and punching with strategy and rage, yet all he managed to make were scars and scratches on the Devil, now having powered up immensely.
The Devil swung its trident downward, only to punch at the spot where Keith was after dodging to the right. It devastated a few of his bones, but he smiled and retaliated with a punch that broke apart its right arm. He healed himself, before standing up, as if he were about to take on the red sky. He stared at the Destruction Devil, its right arm coming back together. He cracked his knuckles, then as he felt his Learn ability shift into another ability, he summoned white flames all over his body, creating an aura.
The Devil pointed at Keith, creating numerous tridents which flew towards Keith. He simply did multiple round kicks and fist swings, deflecting all of them, then dashed towards its head, ready to take it out. It blasted him with lasers, but he absorbed the attack and landed a hit on its head, knocking it back. He levitated in the air as it got to its feet, saying, "You're more durable than before."
As it tried to land another punch, Keith countered it with a straight kick to the front, causing a shockwave that shook the entire city. He then did a downwards kick, sending its hand to the floor and creating a crater. He then slammed his fist down on the floor, sending the Devil airborne, before kicking upwards. Normally, it would have dealt a minor amount of damage, but due to the amount of rage he had combined with his new ability, it knocked the Devil straight into the air and around the world, circling it once before coming back near Keith. It slammed the trident into the floor, before circling it in the air, bringing up debris from a nearby tower.
It was brought down towards Keith, and as it glowed, it shot a laser beam directly above him. He caught it, before tossing it at the Devil, creating an explosion as large as the city, yet not destroying anything aside from its body parts. It drew a circle in the air with the trident, and a large ball followed by numerous smaller balls appeared from it, flying everywhere at varying speeds. Keith pointed at the circle, and blasted a beam, before realizing it would have no effect. He then charged in himself, dodging the balls as he got closer, and once he got close enough, he blasted the Devil in the head, sending it back.
2 side kicks and a trident thrust later, the Devil charged up one last attack, preparing to destroy the world. Keith took note of this, and also charged up a destructive beam made to counter the attack. As both of them were released, Keith's beam was stronger, and as it pierced through the Destruction Devil, it was torn apart into atoms, never to be seen again. Keith got to the ground, taking deep breaths, as he looked around. The battlefield was destroyed, and only he stood in the middle...
...or so he thought.
He felt a man's presence behind him, and he looked to find Jin, standing there. His face was barely visible, yet he seemed familiar. "This is the result of your shit, Jin."
"So it seemed the Destruction Devil failed to kill you. Congrats on surviving. However, what about your power? Have you noticed it was going down?"
"Shit."
"Rain fire and don't stop, boys."
Gunshots and blasts filled the air as everyone nearby was hell-bent on killing Keith, attempting to inflict wounds on him. He kept on dodging, before releasing a disabling shockwave. "Man, give me a break." he said.
"Does a predator give its prey time to rest?"
Keith answered with a wind kick, but the man's face shocked him.
Jin crossed his arms, and said, "Hmph. No hiding anymore."
Jin's true identity was Jang Jin-Suk, apparently now siding with the bad guys. No, he wasn't siding with the bad guys. He IS the bad guy. Keith took a look, before asking, "Why are you doing this, Jin-Suk?"
"I made a deal with GOWA years back, but I decided not to listen. Now, however, I just decided to go along with it, and it seems way better than being the good person. Which means that you gotta kneel to me now."
"Meaning the age of peace is now over. Fine, then. What now?"
Jin-Suk pointed at Keith, and said, "Once you're gone, I'll make plans to change the world for the better. Heck, few soldiers here already have the new stuff."
"New stuff?"
"Oh, you don't know? The soldiers I mentioned have something called Legend Power. Oh wait, of course you don't know this. It's a new concept."
All of a sudden, Jin-Suk kicked Keith in the gut at blinding speeds, before knocking him upwards and punching him with a force so hard it broke some of his bones. He disappeared into the sky, breaking through and revealing the blue sky above. He dusted his hands, and said, "We're done here."
Meanwhile, at the GOWA headquarters, the commander had adopted the little girl and was now standing near her worktable along with her new daughter, seeing the destruction. Only a few buildings could be seen, the rest having been destroyed. A soldier came up to her, and said, "I have news, madam."
"Bring it out."
"The good news is that the Destruction Devil has been defeated."
"That's a relief. Bad news?"
"Jin-Suk plans to change the world for the better while hunting for Keith."
"Is that bad news?"
"For the young kid, yes."
"I see. You're dismissed."
As the soldier walked away, the little girl asked, "Is he a good guy?"
"Who?"
"Jin-Suk."
"Ah, him. To be honest, I can't tell anymore. Will he help humanity while driving it to the brink of extinction? I don't know."
She pondered for a moment, before realizing something, then said, "Hold on. I have the company's remnants to shoulder now?"
"I think so." said the little girl, taking a look at the monitor on the commander's table.
The commander sighed, before saying to a nearby soldier, "Major Theresa, reporting for duty."
Johnson, the quiet kid, walked on the streets of the part of the city which wasn't touched by the Destruction Devil. A group of kids were playing like the fight didn't exist at all, and he looked at all of them. Most of them were younger than him, although there were those who were near his age, and he said, "Hey guys. You thinking about having a fun time?"
The eldest of their group, who looked 12, got in front of them. Before he could say anything, Johnson said, "Hey, hey, relax. I'm not here to hurt you or your friends. I'm here to help. How about building a school?"
The eldest pondered for a while, before saying, "Yeah, that seems like a good idea. Even better, we have some of us here who can do the job."
They all glanced at a nearby abandoned hospital, and Johnson said, "Let's try to perform an exorcism before we transform this place into a school, shall we? Don't worry, I have experience."
The kids cheered, and they ran into the hospital to find paranormal activity before getting ready to transform it.
