Someone Like Me

"Amethyst did you see where Ruby went"? Pearl asked Amethyst who was playing Steven's GameCube. 
"I gave her a pen and paper a while ago why I'm not her babysitter"? Amethyst said eyes locked on the TV.
"Because, she ran away"! Pearl replied by putting the paper in front of Amethyst's face while she quickly glanced at it.
"I don't know what to say man but Steven, Y/n you want to play with me I need a player two"? Amethyst asked.
"I'm sorry Amethyst but we need to find Ruby". Steven replied.
"Yeah we need to get this whole Rose Quartz thing taken care of". Y/n said with a sigh.
"Sapphire do you see anything in your future vision"? Pearl asked.
"Umm yeah but she's so wonderful and spontaneous; why would she be a cowboy"!? Sapphire yelled while tears fell from her eye.
"It's going to be ok and when she comes back we'll have Garnet. And what on earth would do without Garnet; this can't be over you two are so perfect together"! Pearl tried to calm Sapphire down but in the end she broke down too.
"Umm can you two move this to the temple we have video games to play". Amethyst said.
"No we have to find Ruby come on Y/n''. Steven said walking down the stairs.
"Alright but do you even have an idea on where she would be"? Y/n asked following him outside.
Amethyst tried to play her game but with Pearl and Sapphire crying she couldn't enjoy it anymore.
"Yo Steven, Y/n wait up I'm coming too"! Amethyst yelled, throwing the game control to the floor and running after the two. The sun was just starting to set, turning the sky into a bright orange.
"Now if I was Ruby where would I go too"? Steven asked.
"This would be easier if we know Ruby just as much as Garnet". Y/n replied while putting a hand on his face.
"Well maybe if we turned into Ruby we would know where she went"? Amethyst suggested shape shifting into Ruby.
"Amethyst be serious we need to find her". Steven replied.
"Ok I'll stop but do you have any idea where she is"? Amethyst asked with her arms crossed.
"Well there's only two ways she had to go into the town or into the ocean". Y/n said.
"Ruby"! Steven yelled from his pink bubble shield.
"Ruby if you're out here give us a sign"! Y/n yelled.
"Ru-by"! Amethyst yelled but because she was underwater her words came out gurgly.
"Ok she wasn't in the ocean but does she even know anyone in town"? Steven asked while Amethyst was drying her hair.
"I think she knows Greg and that's it". Y/n replied with a half smile as they started to make their way to Beach City.
"Oooo could Ruby be in here"!? Amethyst asked as she shape shifted herself smaller and went inside the seashell she was looking at.
"Amethyst I don't think Ruby would hide in a seashell that was right next to the house". Y/n replied with his arms crossed.
"But I like it here, I'm going to keep it". Amethyst replied.
"Amethyst can you please get out of there and take this seriously". Steven asked as he picked up the shell.
"Alright you're the boss". Amethyst replied as she grew herself back to her normal size and fell on top of Steven.
"Hehe alright let's go to your dad's car wash to see if Ruby's there". Y/n said with a sight smile.
"I don't think they're here". Steven said looking into the dark window.
"Where else would she go? I guess we'll have to walk around town and see if anyone has seen here". Y/n replied with a sigh.
"I have an idea how about we race around until we find Ruby and see you losers later"! Amethyst yelled as she formed into a ball and spined dashed out of the car wash parking lot.
"Amethyst is really careful about this". Steven said looking at the purple fire that was left behind.
"It's Amethyst we're talking about here and I think I have a way to catch up with her". Y/n replied as he summoned his hammer.
"Flying around the buildings with your hammer great thinking". Steven said as he wrapped his arm around Y/n's waist.
"Ok hold on tight". Y/n said as the hook on his hammer wrapped itself around a building and they took off into the air.
"I can see why you do this instead of jumping around like the gems"! Steven yelled with a smile.
"Yeah it makes me feel like a superhero or something"! Y/n replied with a small laugh as he twisted his hook to go left.
"Look there's Amethyst"! Steven yelled pointing at Amethyst who was waiting outside of Fish Stew Pizza.
"There you two slowpokes are". Amethyst said with a small smirk as the two landed by the shop.
"You're the one how sped off without giving us a warning". Y/n replied with a hand on his hip.
"Do you think Ruby would want pizza"? Steven asked.
"Who knows but do you want pizza"? Amethyst asked with a smile. Steven's stomach growled and he laughed a little.
"Yeah let's go in. I haven't eaten much today". Steven said with a light blush to his cheek.
"Then let's go in then". Amethyst said as she opened the door.
"Alright here's your pizza with all the toppings on it". Kiki said with a little concern in her eyes.
"Yes"! Amethyst replied with stars in her eyes.
"Here you're going to need these". Kiki said, putting spoons on the table.
"Thanks Kiki". Steven and Y/n said with a smile. Amethyst grabbed a slice of the pizza and wrapped it up to form a burrito.
"So Rose Quartz was Pink Diamond this whole time". Amethyst said while taking a big bite of her pizza.
"Yeah this whole time". Steven said, taking a slice of pizza.
"Doesn't any of this bother you". Amethyst asked.
"Umm not really I already know she was a liar and I guess knowing that she didn't shatter someone is reassuring"? Steven replied with a shrug.
"Yeah that's fair it's right under your shirt". Amethyst said twirling her pizza burrito.
"Yeah". Steven replied while playing with the pink necklace that Y/n gave him.
"And Y/n this is the first time you saw your mom". Amethyst said.
"Yeah but I feel like that can wait. Rose being Pink Diamond is hard for me too based on the things I have heard about". Y/n said taking a bite of pizza.
"But that shouldn't be because it has nothing to do with us; it has nothing to do with me". Amethyst said, digging her spoon into the table.
"Amethyst are you doing ok"? Steven asked.
"Kiki I can finally buy those new shoes I wanted". Jenny said with a smile as she walked inside the shop.
"Really"? Kiki asked.
"Yeah Mr. Universe gave me a huge tip because it was like way pass our delivery rage. He must have been comforting a friend on watch point hill because she was really red". Jenny said leaning against the counter.
"Ruby"! The three of them yelled after hearing the two twin talk.
"But first Amethyst are you see you're ok... again". Steven asked with a small smile.
"What yeah I'm ok on second thought let's go look for Ruby right now"! Amethyst replied while running out the door.
"Amethyst wait up"! The boys yelled, jumping out of there sits to go after her.
"Amethyst we need to talk"! Steven said.
"No we don't we need to find Ruby"! Amethyst replied shapeshifting into a helicopter and flying into the air.
"Amethyst we need to talk about your feelings"! Steven yelled jumping up into the air.
"Steven ugh wait up"! Y/n yelled summoning his hammer and hooking himself onto Amethyst to catch up to her. He flipped into Amethyst helicopter body and held out his hand for Steven to grab.
"Thanks Y/n". Steven said as he got up.
"No problem". Y/n replied with a smile.
"Can you two get out of my head"! Amethyst yelled.
"No not until we talk about what made you so upset". Steven replied.
"I'm not telling you". Amethyst snapped back.
"Amethyst look out for the Water Tower"! Y/n yelled.
"What oh-". Amethyst yelled as she crushed into the tower.
"Oh no we're going to crush"! Amethyst yelled as they started to plement to the ground.
"Y/-n are you alright"! Steven asked after opening his eyes.
"Yeah I'm fine". Y/n replied while holding his head with his left hand.
"Amethyst"! Steven yelled as he saw Amethyst's head in the sand. The two ran up and pulled her out of the sand.
"Amethyst are you alright"? Steven asked.
"Steven you really want to know how I feel"? Amethyst asked with a fire in her eyes.
"Um I feel like I made my point clear already". Steven replied.
"I feel like this should be our problem. We weren't here when the others were fighting in the war. I'm tired of you two getting caught up in this gem stuff. I'm going to be the best friend through all of this so you don't have to be alone in this". Amethyst said while giving the two a soft look.
"Wow that was really sweet Amethyst". Y/n said as Amethyst sat down beside them.
"You really think so"? Amethyst asked.
"Yeah but I can't believe I'm about to say this but I think you're the most mature Crystal Gem". Steven said with a small smile.
"Oh no nooooo"! Amethyst winced as she fell to the ground.
"Hehe I think that ruined that statement". Y/n said with a laugh.
"I just wanted you to have fun for a little in all this dramatic shit". Amethyst said with a sigh.
"Wait so that's what you've been doing all day"? Steven asked.
"Babe it took you that long to notice"? Y/n said as he elbow Steven's shoulder.
"Hey"! Steven said as he pushed Y/n with a laugh.
"Yeah you deserve it you amazing person". Amethyst said with a sigh.
"Thanks Amethyst". Steven said with a smile.
"So, you still want to look for Ruby"? Amethyst asked.
"Yeah let's go". Steven replied as the three got up.
"Let's get Ruby and Sapphire to talk so they can move on together". Y/n said with a hand on his forehead. Amethyst shape shifted into a helicopter again and the two boys got on.
"Alright let's find Ruby". Steven said as Amethyst took off into the sky.

Sorry that this took so long I had this as a draft for and I needed time to work on it. Hopefully the next chapter won't take as long but we'll see with my nonexistent schedule. Before I forget thanks y'all for number one on trending! I have posted this on my conversation tab but I know a lot of y'all don't look at that. Anyway see y'all next time see ya later!
