All day Dream was trying to be patient with his father. After watching two whole movies with George and Sapnap it still could not pass his mind.

He had to keep it together.

It was only midway into the second movie when Mr. Flores came downstairs, all dressed up along with his wife.

"Where are you two going?" Charlotte muttered after shoving three pieces of popcorn into her mouth.

"We are going out to eat for a special little date. I made you all ramen. Also!" Mrs. Flores grabbed her purse from the counter, "Char, Julie asked if you wanted to walk over there for a sleepover."

"Sweet." Charlotte jumped up from the floor and sprinted upstairs.

When Dream made eye contact with Mr. Flores, he quickly looked away and purposely looked at George.

"Have fun while we're gone. Make sure the fun isn't any mischief!" Mr. Flores laughed and opened up the front door.

"Come on!" He shouted.

"Coming!" Mrs. Flores shouted back, following him out the door.

Silence filled the room when the door was slammed. Seconds later, Charlotte came downstairs with a bag in hand.

"I'll be at Julies across the street, Clay. Call me when mom and dad get home so I can say goodnight."

"Got it." Dream replied, and gave her a thumbs up.

Then she left.

"Welp." Sapnap said blatantly, and threw the remote to the other side of the sofa by George.

"I have editing to do so I'll talk to you guys later." Then Sapnap left to the office.

How did everything lead up to Dream and George being alone? Not that either of them minded.

George turned off his phone and faced Dream. "Why're you staring at me?"

"I like your face."

"Oh." His eyes fluttered and his head lolled to the side.

Dream raised an eyebrow and chuckled. He wasn't sure if he despised or loved the energy created in the room.

"Uhm, Clay?"

The sound of his real name rolling off from George's tongue surprised him in the slightest.

"Yeah?" His body shifted.

"Sorry about the recording stuff yesterday. Sapnap and I were being kinda annoying and we didn't get a lot done."

"Have you been.. keeping that in?"

George looked the other way and rubbed his chin.

"Yeah. Sorry, it's dumb I should've just apologized."

"No worries, George. It's all fine we can just try and film again tomorrow."

"But you seemed like you were genuinely bummed out about it."

"George. I was fine." Dream was being one-hundred percent truthful. He was bummed out about something else, specifically something to do with his family.

"Are you positive?"

Dream smiled at George's stubbornness. "Positive."

George picked at his ramen steadily on the kitchen counter. He had lost his appetite quickly, but couldn't just reject Dreams moms offer of making him some delicious dinner before she had to leave.
