Chapter 23 - Setting up camp

I quickly spun around and almost slammed right into a surprised Luke and an amused-looking Tyler. "Whoops. My bad." I said playfully before giving him a quick peck on the lips, moving around him to kiss luke as well before I darted around them and bounded down the stairs.

As I got closer to the game room I heard voices laughing and the sound of firing on a game.

I jogged into the room and everyone stopped to look at me. My eyes scanned the room quickly and I found Avery sitting cheerfully on Zane's lap as he played with a brand new mate mark clearly visible on her neck.

I laughed and shook my head as they all went back to what they were doing. Avery walked over to me with a huge smile on her face and I noticed her scent was now mixed with Zane's meaning they fully mated.

I mentioned towards the mate mark and laughed. "I was going to ask how everything went, but I see it went very well," I said playfully as I winked at her.

She smiled and unconsciously ran her fingertips over it. "Haha yeah, everything's beyond good" she joked back, winking back at me before linking her arm in mine and walking us over towards the group.

We sat down on the bean bags in the corner near the other girls as my mates came waltzing into the room, laughing and shoving each other.

"I call next" Luke exclaimed as he plopped down on the couch between Seth and Ryan. "I already called next on the way down here, loser" Tyler snickered as he playfully snatched the controller from Zayn just as he died.

"Boys" I muttered shaking my head before laughing at their antics as the other girls joined in.

"How did you guys even get caught?" Emma asked inquisitively while glancing between me and Avery.

"I got trapped and then Izzy got trapped trying to get me out and then we both got found" Avery mumbled begrudgingly sticking her tongue out at Zayn who just laughed and did it back.

"That's pretty much what happened to me earlier too," Lisa said as she winked at Avery and moved her hair to reveal her own mate mark. "We need to find better hiding spots" Emma joked as she pointed between us.

"It won't work" Ryan piped up laughing as he stood up and opened the fridge to grab a soda.

"Says you" Emma murmured as she winked and nudged us, making all of us erupt in laughter.

As we calmed down, Emma got to her feet. "Honestly, we could have an awesome game night here and throughout the mansion. If we had more people we could all play hide and seek and someone is bound to find a good spot" she said as she winked at me before starting to pace.

"Hey wait.....Izzy!" she said excitedly as she quickly came to a stop making me look at her.

"You can mind link everyone you still have a bond with and finally offer them a home. You and I both know how many people wanted to come with us but couldn't because it was too dangerous," she said gleefully as she came over to me.

I gasped and quickly jumped to my feet wrapping my arms around her. "Em! You're a genius!" I said happily as she hugged me back.

"Why thank you" she joked playfully, grinning from ear to ear.

I pulled back and shut my eyes to focus on the pack bond. After a few moments, I felt the familiar pull and could instantly feel the locations of multiple people as well as some of their thoughts and emotions.

(Hey, listen up guys) I said warmly as I called out through the link.

I heard murmurs and various greetings as well as multiple people squealing in either surprise or happiness before the link went quiet.

(Anyone who needs somewhere safe to stay is more than welcome to join me now. I found somewhere secluded and made it secure.) I began reassuringly as I flashed images through the link of the refurbished mansion and the dome surrounding it.

(the marks on your chests are what will allow you through the dome surrounding us. Those without a mark that are with you are also welcome, just alert me when you're close so I can meet you. It's okay if you don't want to come, but those that do, you know where to go now, so I hope to see you all soon) I said hopefully as I began to pull back. They all began to talk amongst themselves through the pack link as I pulled myself back completely. I opened my eyes and nodded towards Emma who smiled even wider.

"Well, that's an idea" Tyler exclaimed excitedly as he jumped to his feet.

"I agree," Luke said enthusiastically as he first bumped Ryan who was smiling from ear to ear. "You guys could make the call tomorrow morning since they will be meeting then anyway," Ryan said helpfully as he pulled something up on his phone to show the guys.

"Wait what call? What are you guys talking about?" I asked quizzically as I walked over to them.

Luke and Tyler both made their way over to me smiling excitedly. "Well, you calling out to your friends gave us an idea. We were only supposed to be gone until we found our mate and of course....now we have.." luke said winking at me.

"So since we have everything set up here and have space for more homes, we were going to suggest merging our packs here. Though it may take a little time for everyone from our pack to make the move." Tyler said hopefully as he moved closer taking my hands in his. "That is...if you're up for it?"
