I had left Five alone to his thoughts... not sure whether that was a good idea or not.

After waiting for Allison to finish calling Vanya, we met back up with Diego.

"You're welcome." He remarked, handing the files to Allison, with an evil grin on his face.

I rolled my eyes and looked back at five, who was leaning against the wall, still looking at his feet.

Something was definitely wrong with him, although he blames his 'keep to self-ness' on the fact that he is going to loose everything, I really don't think that's the case.

He has known for how many years that he was going to loose things that he loves, that the world was ending... why mourn over the idea of it now?

He looked up at me, with pain in his green eyes.

I stared back with the same amount of pain. The pain of loosing him, my friends and my life.

The pain of all the scars, blows and hits that I had suffered whilst with him.

But mostly the pain of knowing that he is hurting, more than anyone in this damn world.

I blinked back tears that were threatening to escape my eyes.

I turned around, so I was no longer facing the boy, he didn't need to see me cry.

Sometimes memories sneak out of my eyes and roll down my cheeks... good and bad. Things I wanted to remember and things I wish I would just forget. He didn't need to relive my memories i wish I never had.

"Holy shit!" Allison shouted.

I snapped my head up towards the sound, my tears still half way down my cheek.

"What?" Diego asked.

"Harold Jenkins is Leonard Peabody." She showed us a mugshot of a man with black hair and droopy eyes.

I let out a sharp breath. He wasn't my father.

In a way I was glad, the person who raised me, wasn't trying to destroy the world... but I'm kind of devastated, he is not my father, meaning my father is not the most evil thing on this planet.

After contemplating for a few minutes, Diego and Allison decided that it would be best to go to the psycho's  house and look for him.

I strongly disagreed but they insisted that would be the safest option.

Five surprisingly didn't say a word  through out the whole discussion.

——

"Be careful, okay? We don't know what Peabody's capable of." Allison said as soon as we stepped out of the car onto Leonard's front yard.

"Yeah, he didn't seem dangerous when I first saw him. Looked kinda scrawny." Diego added.

"That's because you weren't expecting any danger from an innocent man dating your sister." I replied with a scoff.

Diego and five walked towards the door, still blabbering on about Vanya and the creep.

Allison called me over and we went around the back of the house.

We got in just in time to see Diego jump through the glass door and land hard on the floor.

I let out a light chuckle.

"That was very graceful Diego." I spoke in between my laughter.

"Subtle." Allison added.

"You know the door was unlocked." Five said pointing to the broken door.
