In The Rain (Eiji x Ash)

The want of a sibling was on and off as a child for me. My dad was mostly present, but at random times he wouldn't talk to me because of work. Griffin would always play with me though. When he went to join the military I was sad but also proud in a way. I admired Griffin for joining the army. If he didn't maybe things would have been different. Of course, it's also my fault. If I hadn't ran away things would have been different. A new doctor walked in. He didn't even knock. "You are allowed to go outside for an 2 hours. You will be monitored and you will have to be in a wheelchair due to your injury." I started to get up. There was a wheelchair in the room. I walked over to it, a stabbing pain in my stomach. The doctor looked terrified. I guess he didnt like that I did that because he started telling me, in a frustrated manner, that I wasnt supposed to get up. "You wont get fired. Dont worry." He shut up and simply said "Your helper will be here soon" as he walked out. I decided that it would be nice to spend my final day at the hospital outside. I could go look st some flowers and it would present some time to think about who I was going to have testify for me in the court case. I wonder if he could testify for me? No, he might get targeted after that. I'll decide on that later. I wonder if I could contact him somehow. Even if he cant come to the court case, I would love to talk with him. My thoughts were interrupted by a nurse who looked to be in her mid 20's, pushing a wheelchair into my hospital room. She surprisingly wasnt scared of me. She wasn't acting all lovey-dovey to me at all. It was a nice change. I got up and started to walk to the wheelchair, the stabbing pain coming back. She seemed shocked but didnt make abig fuss about it. She rolled the wheelchair over to me as well so that it would be easier for me. I sat down, the stabbing pain still there but numbed a little. The pain killers really didnt work huh? We went out the door and headed to the backyard of the hospital. It seems it was a naturally grown forest. This doesnt suprise me considering the hospital was built next to a forest. They mist have just built it in as the outside area. You could tell they cut down some trees. Where the tree stumps from chopped down trees still stood, there were boxes of dirt with different flowers in them.  The majority boxes consisted of bluebells, tulips, lotus, lilacs, and red roses.  I looked at the lilacs.  They reminded me of Eiji.  I cant focus on that right now, I need to figure out who will testify for me.

I was bored.  I decided to go to the library.  I wanted to see if I could find some manga.  Baccano huh? It's a mystery manga.  I decided that I could take a look at it.  After reading for a bit I got up and started walking to the counter to check the book out.  The book was about and Italian version of the mafia but it turns to a mystery.  I greeted the librarian at the front desk.  This library wasnt nearly as big as the one Ash had took me to.  I wonder what he is doing right now.  I checked out the manga and sat down and read for a bit.  The library wasnt super big, it was still a decent size though.  The walls were white and the floors were light brown shiny slabs, the type you'd find in schools.  The front desk had marbled counters.  There 2 tables and then there was a small one in the kids section. After reading half way through the book, I got up and started to leave.  I said goodbye to the library, who I had become pretty good acquaintance.  I was walking home and decided to grab some sweets from the candy store.  It wasnt big either it was simple.  I went in and grabbed some for me and my sister I picked a chocolate bar and a bag of mints and I got her some lollipops, chocolate, and poki.  Of course, I bought me some poki to.  I walked home just observing my surroundings, thinking to myself.  I got home and my sister was sitting at the table doing homework.  She saw the bags I was holding and jokingly asked "Aww you're so sweet!" Then was suprised when I actually put candy on the table she was just speechless.  "I know, I'm a good brother!" I said jokingly.  She just rolled her eyes, thanked me, and continued doing her homework while eating the candy.  I went up to my room and started reading Baccano while eating my candy.  I should bake donuts with Ash sometime.
