You spawn in a new world, not knowing where you are, all you know is your name, (y/n).
You meet a new friend, defeat some monsters and get creeped out by the two white lights that never seem to stay in place.
The reader in this story will be they/t...
She deadpanned, "how long have you been alive?" I paused, "about five or so months." She rested her hand/hooves on my shoulders, "you're a baby!" I gasped while putting a hand on my chest, "I am not! I'll have you know that I am an experienced adventurer, I have survived near death experiences not once, but TWICE!"
She smacked me over the head while I cackled before she pulled me up and pushed me out the door, "wait, I have to put on my shoes." I trotted back into my room, slid on my flats and debated whether or not I should put on my sword as well.
I almost didn't before I got a weird feeling and put it on anyway, I strapped it over the shoulder this time.
I walked out and Lillian sighed at me but said nothing. We made our way to the throne room and met Libelle standing outside the door. She had a silver necklace rolling off her shoulders and silver bracelets around her wrists, "you look lovely this morning, Libelle!"
She smiled down at me, "why thank you, Mx eye candy." I laughed and opened the door as Lillian was groaning at my nonexistent formality. I walked up to the bottom of the steps and gave a small bow, "good morning, your majesty" Libelle smiled at him, "I hope you slept well."
I smirked, "oh, I'm sure he slept just fine." I winked at him. I was ignored while I giggled at my suggestive joke, "I slept quite well, thank you. Now, let's get to business, please. Join me in my office." He stood up and led us to a side room.
He held the door open for us, and I let Libelle go through first, I patted his chest as I walked by, and he smacked my ass. I let out a quiet gasp and looked around the room, no one was watching but I'm sure that someone saw.
Hero walked around his desk as a butler placed down the pillow from yesterday on the ground, "please, get comfortable. We'll be here a while." He gestured to the pillow.
Libelle went to the pillow and laid her front half on it while her back legs and tail were just on the floor. I saw a comfy looking chair and I smirked at Hero, he gestured for me to sit down too.
I scooted the chair closer to the desk and Libelle, she smiled across at me, now that she was laying down we were closer in height. Herobrine sat down and put on his glasses, he then pulled out some blank paper and a large quill, he handed them to Libelle.
She nodded in thanks, but paused, "I'm sorry, but why did you hand me paper?" He pulled out his own paper and quill, "it is to write down what you would like for me to trade to your kingdom, and what you would give in return."
She oh'd, her gaze shifted down to her paper, "sorry, I'm just, you're the first one I came to start trade routes with." For a moment I saw the submissive little princess that would hide in her room when things got ugly. The wall she slowly built up had some gaps, and we could hand through words of encouragement and nourishment.
Her tail curled more toward her body, almost protectively. "I'm glad that I was the one you chose to go to first, the overworld king... eh, he can be pretty unsympathetic to many people." Hero crossed his legs and got comfortable, "now, let's begin."
For about five or so hours they would toss back and forth items and their availability, their accessibility, and what is equal to it in the other dimension. I was usually the one who said jokes, lowered tension and gave advice.
We took a break at the two hours and thirty minute mark to get lunch, since we didn't have time to get breakfast. I pulled Libelle's pillow next to my seat which almost caused Gunther to have an aneurism, the weird feeling that started earlier was getting stronger and I couldn't pinpoint what it was.
We got back into the office and got settled back down. "Now, let's conti-" Hero got interrupted by a commotion outside, "(Y/N)!" My brows furrowed and I shot up, "Lee?" I swung open the door and there, getting held back by the guards, was my cow print friend.
"Lee, what the hell are you doing here?!" I shooed away the guards and Leroy grabbed my shoulders, "(y/n), you need to go back to the surface!" Hero and Libelle exited from the office, "Leroy?" Libelle's confused voice knocked Lee from his stupor.
His gaze shot over to her. His breath got heavier, "Leroy, what's all this about!" I grabbed his head and tugged him down to my height, "your village, pilligers!" my brows furrowed deeper, "what?"
He grabbed my shoulders and crouched down, "your village is being attacked by pilligers and I don't think that they can hold on much longer." My body froze as visions of grey men and beasts attacked a village, of a summoner spawning little flying creatures and monster heads sprouting from the ground to bite at ankles.
I felt my knees hit the floor as the visions overcame me, crazed men with axes chopping down doors, fires spreading, people poisoned from potions.
Children dying. People dying. Families dying. Villages burning to the ground. Lives took, minds shattered.
I gasped a deep breath of air, and felt myself sob. "(Y/n), (y/n), honey, you're okay I have you. It's okay, you're safe." I felt myself being rocked back and forth as I sobbed involuntarily, "are they okay? I've heard about Spawns having visions of past Spawns lives but I didn't know it was this bad."
I grabbed the person holding me, I grabbed their arms and pulled them off me. I stood on unsteady legs and ran to my room, I threw off the dress and pulled on my normal clothes, I grabbed my gauntlets out of my bag and fastened them on.
"(Y/n)." I flicked my gaze at the door, barely giving the person a glance, "(y/n), you can't go out there-" I stopped and I could feel myself swell with anger, "do you expect me to not protect the people who gave me shelter." I growled.
"Woah, wait, that's not what i was gonna say-", "I'm gonna protect them with my life and I don't care if you try to stop me-" He grabbed my arms and stopped me, "I'M NOT- I'm not going to stop you, I'm offering to get you armor, and proper weapons. How long do you think that iron sword is gonna last against wave after wave of those guys."
All the anger vanished, as I shuddered a breath, "I can't have them die, Hero, not after what I saw." He let go of my arms and grabbed my hand, "I know, and I'm gonna help you as much as I can."
