My head hurts. I feel like a drill is constantly pressing itself into my temples and is accompanied by a loud ringing sound. I stay in this hellish state for five more minutes, too tired to even move or open my eyes but then the ringing stopped. Puzzled, I opened my eyes and rolled over to my stomach and reached for my phone.  Its bright screened practically blinding me as I see a missed call from Keshi, the backbone of the Pro-Hero agency that I own which specializes in internships. I swipe on his name which led to dialing his number. It didn't take two rings for Keshi to pick up and in essence, he wasn't yelling but when you've got a headache, a whisper might even be too loud.

"Good morning Miss 'Most beautiful hero' of the season" the other voice on the line teased. Hearing this, dread washed over me as I am once again reminded by what embarrassment felt like.

"Seriously, they make awards for just about everything these days." I groaned as I rolled out of bed and dragged myself out of the bedroom, leaving the bed unmade.

"Well, you seemed like you had a good time celebrating the award last night." Keshi chuckled and continued " Luckily for you, I wouldn't hold that over your head for long. The sports festival is being held today and we've been invited to watch it live along with the other agencies scouting for young heroes."

"That's today? Ugh, what I'd give to have the whole sports festival rescheduled." I whined and forced myself to prepare for a shower.

"You could if you were an all mighty deity but you aren't or you could call your family and get them to pull some strings for you!" Keshi excitedly suggested.

"I've said this one and I'm gonna say it again: stop trying to get me to rely on them. I'd rather avoid the risk of them telling me I owe them shit. It's a headache I'm trying to not deal with, okay?" I replied, turning the knob as water starts to pour out of the shower head.

"I'll see you at the office in an hour. Could you get my usual breakfast from the coffee shop next door? Thanks." I added before hanging up. I placed my phone on the counter and started getting ready for my day.

The rest of my morning was uneventful as I left for the office, taking my usual route. There wasn't any crime fighting on my way to work this time around. It's been nice ever since Toshinori Ya-, I mean, All Might worked for that "Symbol of Peace" thing that he kept talking about. I wonder how he's doing? I've heard from the news that he's recently been working at UA.

I chuckle at the thought of All Might being a teacher out of all things. With that much power, I guess he wouldn't need to put in that much effort compared to people whose quirks weren't as strong as his. As I catch myself thinking about All Might, I thought about sending a text.  It's been a while since I talked to my best friend.

"I heard you're a teacher at UA now. Your students better show me what they've got or I'm gonna lose all respect for your teaching capabilities. Not that I had any to begin with." I joked and not moments later, my phone vibrated which indicated a reply back.

"The heroes of this generation looks promising this time around! Who knows, you might be scouting everyone by the end of the sports festival and they all might be from my class. Come say 'hi' later, okay?" I read with a smile subtly forming on my face barely noticing that I was about to walk past my building. I entered the office on the fourth floor and there greeted me were different interns zooming from desk to desk and the different personnel I've assigned for them. It was a busy day at the office as they were preparing to open new spaces for upcoming recruits but they still made it a point to take time off and greet me before resuming back to what they were doing.

I turned to  my left and opened a door which separated my office from the others as Keshi stood in the room appearing to be just about done organizing the documents placed on my desk where my breakfast sat. His black hair which grew long enough to be tied into a low ponytail with some strands of hair just being left out and fell at the sides of his face was pretty much not aligning with the office dress code if we had one. He turned to face me and smiled "Ready to go?"
