Your POV:
It was 11:56, I was curled up by the window reading {include fave book}. I was deep in the book. Five was sleeping on our shared bed, he hasn't been able to sleep because of the apocalypse and saving the world and all that-thankfully we succeeded and were now resting and living our normal, unproblematic lives (imagine if they did succeed in season 1 tho-the show would've been very different)

I started to hear the sound of blankets moving but thought nothing of it. Then, I heard whimpering coming from Five. I bolted up immediately and rushed to him while trying to keep quiet to not wake him up. "Five?! Bubbs are you okay??" I said filling with worry.

No answer. This scared me, "Five, baby wake up!" I said getting more and more anxious. But he didn't wake up-instead, he started crying and whisper-shouting "Y/n! No, please-please! Princess, I'm so sorry! Please stay with me! HELP!" Five said in between cries.

My heart shattered! I started tearing up... "Bubbs wake up!" I said while shaking him. His eyes flickered open. He anxiously looked around.

Five's POV:
When I saw y/n I immediately hugged her! She was okay! It was just a nightmare. Thank god. I couldn't control my sobs and I didn't care. I thought I lost her again!

"You're ok. You're not dead... thank god!" I whispered as I pulled her closer.

"Of course I am... was it bad, the nightmare?" Y/n asked.

"I was back there and I found yo-your lifeless body. And I couldn't save you..." I said falling back to tears.

"Don't worry about that anymore, Five. If anything happens, I'll be by your side. Nothing will happen because you saved me and your siblings. You're our hero and you aren't going to go back there-I promise!" Y/n said with a sweet smile.

"Thank you, princess!" I said feeling more calm and happy.

Your POV:
He was scared, traumatized, and I felt so bad for him. I really couldn't imagine how hard it must've been to be stuck in a post-apocalyptic world after finding everyone you ever loved dead... I felt so bad for him, Five-the love of my life-had to go through so much and still couldn't let it go. Of course, I didn't expect him to, that shit's traumatizing!

Thankfully, after about 6 minutes of being in my arms, he fell asleep. He seemed much more relaxed and happy. I knew these nightmares were far from over, but I'm here for him and will comfort him every single time.

"I love you, bubba! And I promise you'll be okay. I'll be here whenever you need me to be, lover's honor!" I whispered sweetly into his ear. I knew he was asleep but I still would keep my promise, because I love him so god damn much!
