The Experiment (mha x reader)

*Y/N POV*

It has been two years of torture, thanks to Overhaul. Eri and I are very close now. She is 7 and I am 14. She calls me 'Big sis Y/N or just big sis'. I always try to protect her from Overhaul, but it never works. He does sometimes let me take her turn if she is to worn out from the previous day.

But other than that, I have lost all hope for heroes. Eri hasn't though. She still believes heroes will come save us. I always try to give her hope, but I don't believe it. I just do it so she will never give up. I've already given up. I'm tired of doing this for nine years straight. I don't care what happens to me, as long as Eri is safe.

"Big sis? Do you think we will ever leave this place?", Eri asked. To be honest I really don't know. "I'm sure the heroes will save you Eri. I promise they will.", I meekly responded. I don't know if they will save us or not. It has been years and nothing has changed.

"What do you mean save me, big sis? You're going to be saved too, right? Promise me you won't leave me! I can't lose you.", Eri cried. I quickly hugged her and ran my fingers through her hair. "Of course. I'm sorry Eri. I promise, I won't leave you.", I whispered to her. I'm sorry Eri, I don't know if anyone would ever want to save me. They haven't done so before. I'm a monster. I'm useless. Im just a tool..

After Eri calmed down, she fell asleep. Which left me awake to my own thoughts. 'I need to get her out of here. Please.... someone, save her. Please save Eri!' I drifted off into a peaceful sleep. The next day was more of the same, nothing new. The tests are getting more and more painful each time. Overhaul killing and bringing me back to life is getting more and more painful. But, I'm used to it now. I've gone through this for years.

One of Overhaul's men in charge of Eri and I stupidly left us alone. Lucky for us, he left the door open. I quickly told Eri that we should escape. She was scared at first, but I told her that we could finally be free. So she agreed, and we ran down the hallways. We took any possible turn, until we were finally out. Overhaul was right behind us though. So I ran behind Eri, so she could escape first. Overhaul quickly snatched my arm. But Eri ran into two people. Who are those boys? Are they heroes?

"Hey are you ok?", asked the green one. "You should be more careful. You wouldn't want to cause any trouble for the heroes...", taunted Overhaul. So they are heroes then. Will we finally be saved? Will Eri finally be saved?
