The crazy doctors gang were having lunch at the cafeteria while looking at the study notes .suddenly beam’s phone started ringing. Beam looked at the caller id and answered the call “ what is it dad ? why are you calling me at this time of the day? , my lecture will be starting after few minutes” .
“ beam your grandma is not feeling good ,she wants you to meet her, she never made a request like this , so can you come here as soon as possible , if it is possible bring phana or kit with you , can you do that beam ?”
“ Yes father I will be there as soon as possible “
Beam started gathering things from the tables. He said to his friends “I am going to see grandma she is not feeling well , I don’t know when I will be back so please take notes for me.”
Phana get up and gathering his things and said to beam “ I am coming with you “
“ it is ok phana I can go alone “.
“no you’re not I am coming with you and that’s final , kit take notes for us”.
Kit nodded understandingly kit knew how much grandma meant to beam , grandma is the one who practically raised him.
Phana and beam left the cafeteria hurriedly.
At grandmas house
Beam hurried to the grandmas room , he saw her lying on the bed with an iv attached to her. Beam went near his grandma hugged her tightly. “ grandma what happened to you ? you never insisted on visiting coming here except for holidays “.
Grandma caressed beams hair and said “ beam, I am not getting younger . and I am missing your grandpa it’s time for me to go to him , before that I want you to promise me something or I will haunt you like a ghost “.
“What ever grandma wants I will do it , I promise”.
