"You still haven't given me an answer," Christian says as we make our way into the stadium.

"About what?"

"If you're coming with me or not for the off-season."

I've been avoiding this conversation for a while. He opens the door for me, "I don't know yet."

"I just want you to know that you don't have to but you're more than welcome to come with me. Once we're done playing, regardless of the outcome, I'll probably only be out here for a week."

I don't think I'm ready to go off to Malibu with him. I think he's wanting me to stay with him for the entirety of the off-season. Although, that sounds great, I don't know if we're ready for that.

"I just don't know what's going on with the holidays."

"That's okay. I just wanted to remind you."

He kisses me as we got to my office. "Good luck, see you out there," I tell him.

"Thank you."

I'm not opposed to staying out there. But I just got back here. I figured I would visit for a couple of weeks at a time. Plus, I'll be out at spring training. I don't know if we're ready for that. I don't think I'm ready for it. I feel like we're moving fairly quick and we've only been together for less than three months. I'll figure it out soon.

My office door opens and I look up from my computer. I see Trinity standing at the door, "Hello?"

"Hi, nice to see you too."

"Um, how did you get down here?"

"I told the security guards you were my sister, showed them a picture, by the way, they love this photo from when we were young and you're pouting because I took something from you. After I showed them that, they let me in."

"That's only slightly concerning. You couldn't picked any other picture?"

"It's my best photo of you."

"Okay. What's up? Do you need something?"

"Well, geez, don't sound so eager to see me."

She sits next to my chair, "Sorry, there's a lot going on right now."

"Do you want to talk about it?"

I shrug, "I could use some advice."

"Lay it on me."

"Christian's asked me to come out to Malibu with him after we're done here."

"For a week or two?"

"For the entire off-season. November to February."

"What do you want to do?"

"I'd love to be out there, but that's a long time. I just got back here. I don't think I'm ready for that just yet."

"Well, if you're not ready, don't go. Don't make yourself feel uncomfortable for three months."

"It would make him so happy if I went with him."

"I think you two need to sit down and talk about it."

"It also wouldn't make sense for me to go. I pay over $2000 a month to live here. I'm not worried about the finances. I'd be fine if I did decide to go out there with him but that's a lot of money going down the drain especially when I'm not utilizing my space."

"Maybe you can come up with a schedule. Maybe you stay here for a few weeks after you're done. You can go out there for Thanksgiving and celebrate his birthday. Come home for Christmas. Then go back out in January before you have to be in Phoenix."
