Panic

(George)

Yesterday was chaotic. The crying in front of Dream, the shouting and fighting...

Would Dream think of George differently? Would he think of George as a crybaby? That was too childish but people can still think it.

And in a couple of minutes, they had to stream. After what happened on the stream yesterday, George knew people will be asking questions.

'What happened yesterday?? '
'George probably did something wrong like usual'
'What did George do now'
'Dream was pissed. Probably because of George.'
'Dream deserves better'

Thoughts of what people will say ran through George's head. He tried to push them away but they kept coming. He started breathing faster. His heart rate picked up. His eyes became heavy.

He was about to pass out.

"It's ok it's ok it's ok" George mumbled to himself.

He had to get a grip on himself. Everything that had just happened was pushing away all the excessive thoughts.

He started to calm down causing his eyes to become lighter.

He fell to the soft carpet covering his room. His back leaned against the side of his bed. George looked over at his phone. The time read '12:56'. He didn't want to stream. He didn't want to move.

He didn't want to see Dream.

A person who was the kindest to him, who was someone he could easily open up to was now someone he dreaded.

Crazy how things change.

George walked to his monitor and turned it on. He sat down in his gaming chair and faced the screen.

He dragged his mouse so it was hovering over the Minecraft tab and clicked. He fiddled with his thumbs until it loaded. Once that was complete he opened Discord (lemme be honest idk what app it is they use for VC) seeing Dreams icon.

"Alright," George said to himself "don't say anything dumb, don't act dumb, act like nothings wrong, pretend nothing happened, and lastly don't look at chat"

One thing with being a big streamer is you have lots of haters, lots of mean comments, and lots of judgment that brings you down. You usually try not to look at the chat.

He clicked to join Dreams VC.

"Hello George" Dream greeted
"Hello" George greeted back attempting to sound happy. It clearly did work when responded with "Your gonna have to work on your acting gogy"
George huffed in response.

"I'll start the stream," George said setting up twitch. He typed in the title 'playing horror game with Dream' and clicked start. 

"Hello stream!" George said, "If you've seen the title, me and Dream are playing a horror game!"
"Yes and George is gonna be clinging onto me through his screen because he's so scared" Dream joked.
"Says you" George joked back

They clicked start on the game that Dream had already set up.

"So basically in this game, it's parkour, and there's this wall that is coming behind us. If it hits us, we die. But, at the same time, there are jump scares. It's gonna be hard" Dream explained
"Yes and as the levels go on, the game gets harder" George continued
"Just like" Dream wheezed "just like me"
"Why would you say that" George blushed

Dream continued laughing "The more I see George the harder I get HAHAHA" Dream cried laughing.
"Dreammmm oh my god," George said digging his head into his hands.

'This isn't helping Dream'

"Let's just get to the game" George groaned
"Alright alright," Dream responded calming down.

They got into the Minecraft world.

"Alright, you ready?" Dream asked George
"I'm ready" George responded.

Dream clicked 'start' and the game began.

"Come on George the walls coming!" Dream shouted.
"Ok ok! Do we know when the jump scares are?" George asked
"Nop-"

A jump scare popped up on the screen. It was a person with no skin on their face.

"AH!!!!!" Dream yelled
"HOLY SHIT" George screamed "I mean crap-"
Dream laughed "you sound like a girl," he said
"Says you!" George defended "AhHhHh" he mocked.
"Oh shut up" Dream laughed
"You first" George responded

"Alright we made it through that round so onto the next" Dream said
"Just don't scream like a girl this time" George teased
"I-" Dream tried to find a good comeback "Fuck you"
"Good one" George laughed

The screen flashed and the game began.

George's character ran and jumped over the colourful jumps.

Then a jump scare happened. It was a blood covered person screaming.

"AHH SHIT" Dream screamed. Soon after the sound of crashing echoed through the headphones.
"I just fell oh my god" Dream wheezed
"DREAM YOU IDIOT" George laughed "THAT'S WHY I LOVE YOU HAHA"

There was silence in the voice chat.

"WHAT?" Dream asked/yelled

Then, George realized what he said.

'FUCK'
