What if Redtail Didn't Die?

Redtail's POV

Redtail pushed Oakheart away, his wounds stinging.

"Sunningrocks belongs to ThunderClan!" He hissed, aiming a blow at the tom's nose.

Oakheart dodged back, wincing in pain as he bumped into rocks. Redtail ran back, hoping he was out of range. He watched in horror as Oakheart's scream of terror was cut short. He watched as Tigerclaw told Ravenpaw something, and stared at Redtail.

"Tigerclaw?" Redtail was ncredibly confused. Was he looking behind him... or at him?

Without warning, Tigerclaw leapt at Redtail. What is he doing? Redtail barely missed Tigerclaw's claws as he tried to attack.

"Traitor!" Redtail hissed. Surprise had overwhelmed him, but Redtail ignored it as he realised with a jolt, he's fighting to kill.

"You fight like a kit!" Tigerclaw meowed, furious. His amber eyes blazed with rage, and Redtail considered a few facts, thoughtfully.

If he really is mad, he won't think when he hits. I can use that to my advantage. He watched as Tigerclaw slashed at him. Redtail quickly dodged back, springing towards the tabby tom to aim a blow at the toms eye.

Tigerclaw wailed in pain as his left eye was clawed with sharp claws. "My... eye!" He screamed, covering his face.

Redtail approached Tigerclaw, still cautiously. He leapt on the toms back, biting his back as Tigerclaw failed to get him off.

"Redtail?" Looking over to a bush, Redtail saw Ravenpaw sitting in horror.

"Run, Ravenpaw! Tell Bluestar about Tigerclaw." Redtail hopped off Tigerclaw and followed Ravenpaw into the forest. They sped through the trees, occasionally jumping to avoid crashing into rocks or tree roots.

"Ravenpaw? Redtail?" Bluestar meowed as she saw them enter camp. "Where is Tigerclaw?"

"Badly injured." Ravenpaw quickly meowed.

"Tigerclaw tried to kill me." Redtail explained.

Bluestar looked utterly shocked. "Why would he-"

"I don't know, Bluestar." The red tortoiseshell mewed. "He's half-blind, but still a threat."

Bluestar;s look of shock turned to a face of determination. "Then we should tell the entire clan."
